We want our wedding to feel like a blast from the past! We both absolutely love the 70's aesthetic, so we want to live it for our big day. You can go classic 70's or put your own modern twist on it. Think prints and textures like satins, velvets, corduroys, faux furs, and sequins. Take style cues from Bianca and Mick Jagger, Sonny and Cher, Farah Fawcett, Stevie Nicks, Iman, Joni Mitchell, Debbie Harry, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, and so on. Please refer to our "wedding attire moodboard" here on the website if you need some inspiration!
Arnelle and her friend Joma were in London for their first time, and upon hearing stories of other friends doing this while traveling, Joma suggested the two of them create a group Tinder profile to meet locals in the area and make friends. Of the numerous profiles they matched with, one stood out. His name was Emil, and according to his profile, he was "Looking for a wife. No party dresses please." So of course, upon agreeing to meet up with Emil and his friends at a bar, Arnelle and Joma excitedly put their party dresses on (LOL) and headed out. The two groups of friends collided and got along so well that they proceeded to hang out every single day for the remainder of their stay in London. The chemistry between Emil and Arnelle was palpable and by the end of the weekend they were telling one another they thought they might be falling in love. Emil jokingly asked Arnelle to be his girlfriend (or so she thought it was a joke). After they left London, Emil met them again a few days afterward in Nice, France. A few weeks after that, Arnelle returned to Europe to do a road trip with Emil and his friends that she hadn't met yet. During this road trip, he asked her to be his girlfriend (again, for real this time), and the rest is history.
