"Sangeet" means music and "Dhamaail" is a traditional Sylheti folk music, where the women sing wedding songs for the Bride's ceremony and dance along the beats.

Groom's Side Haldi Ceremony. Dress Code : Yellow
"Gaaye Holud" is a pre-wedding ceremony where turmeric paste is applied to the Groom's face and body. Turmeric is known to cleanse, soften and brighten the skin, giving the groom's skin the distinctive yellow hue that gives its name to this ceremony
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
This is an intimate pre-wedding celebration at the Groom's residence.
"Aiburo" means bachelor and "bhaat" means rice. This pre-wedding ceremony marks the last meal for the Groom as a Bachelor. Elaborate Bengali dishes are cooked for the Groom ; Friends, neighbors and close relatives gather to throw a lavish celebration to have fun and celebrate last day as a bachelor.
3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Groom's wedding party start the journey "Jaatra" from Kolkata to Guwahati to the Bride's residence.
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This is the Bridal Shower
In the morning, the family members and close relatives of the bride visit a nearby water body to fill a pitcher with water and return. This water will be used late in the evening to bathe the Bride. She will then be adorned in new clothes and bridal jewellery - shankha, pola - and fed her last meal as a bachelorette.
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
This is the Bride's Haldi Cremony. Dress Code : Yellow
The Groom's Party arrives from Kolkata with "Tattva" or gifts for the Bride - clothes, jewellery along with oil, a big, decorated carp or rohu fish, personal grooming and toiletry products, sweets and other delicacies. The turmeric from the Groom's Gaaye Holud is then used to apply on the Bride's face and body by all the friends and relatives.

This is the wedding ceremony of Arkadeep and Ananya. Dress Code : Indian Traditional
The Groom with his wedding party or "Borjaatri" is scheduled to arrive at 7.30 pm and the Hindu Wedding Ritual is scheduled to start at 8:30 pm. Reception starts 6:00 pm onwards.

This is an intimate event at the Groom's Residence
The Bride is received by her new in-laws. Wedding Games will be played between the Bride and Groom.
