While we love all of the kiddos in our lives, we are requesting to keep our wedding adults only.
No. However, the resort is cheaper. We wanted a place where everyone could stay close by but also have their own space and not feel like a typical hotel. This way everyone can have their own plans but still be close enough to get together on the private beach or restaurant.
If you are able to arrive into San Jose at the designated group times, a shuttle is already set up for the group. If you are unable to schedule during the designated times, or wanting to do something else, please reach out for our suggested transportation methods and contacts. The shuttle to Tulemar will take about 2.5-3 hours and can stop at restaurants, grocery stores, sight seeing spots upon request.
Manuel Antonio is located in a coastal rainforest. May through November is the 'green' season, when the forests are bursting with flowers and wildlife. Plan on warm sunny mornings perfect for exploring, and frequent afternoon showers.
Manuel Antonio is a beach AND rainforest destination, so prepare for both. A pair of sandals and a pair of hiking shoes or sneakers will be helpful. Overall, Costa Rica is a very casual country, so you don’t need to over-pack. Light, comfortable clothing and basics like sunscreen and bug spray should do the trick! And then of course an outfit for the wedding!
Yes, the water in Costa Rica is generally considered safe to drink. If you have a very sensitive system, or are concerned that something could disagree with you, you can play it safe with bottled water.
The U.S. dollar is widely used in Manuel Antonio, as are credit cards, given it is a very popular tourist destination.
We ask that, at the latest, please RSVP by May 9, 2025.
