Madera Canyon - 40 min drive from Tubac

Great hiking with a range of options for ability, 30 minutes away. Located in the Mt Wrightson Wilderness (https://bit.ly/3risEPh), there's loads more hiking there. Wrightson itself is a great, but challenging peak with stupendous views.

Kartchner Caverns State Park - 1.5h from Tubac

A really wonderful cave complex! It's substantial and worth a trip, especially if you can also make it to Sonoita, Arizona's wine country.

Sonoita (Wine Country) - 1h from Tubac

Sonoita boasts Arizona's best vineyards. It's a really fun, beautiful spot and worth the drive.
