Oregon Zoo
The bride is slightly obsessed with the zoo, so if you have extra time in Portland this is a must. From elephants and polar bears to red pandas and sea otters, it’s basically impossible not to have a good time here. If you see someone getting way too excited about animals… it’s probably the bride.
Bridal Veil Falls
A waterfall named Bridal Veil near our wedding venue? Obviously we had to include it. This beautiful two-tier waterfall tucked into the Columbia River Gorge is a short and easy walk with gorgeous views. Perfect for a quick nature stop (and a cute photo moment).
Historic Columbia River Highway
If you have a little extra time, take a drive along the Historic Columbia River Highway. It’s one of the most beautiful drives in the Pacific Northwest with waterfalls, mountain views, and scenic overlooks around almost every corner. Perfect for a relaxed afternoon adventure. Fun Fact: it’s how the bride and groom stumbled upon their wedding venue!
Multnomah Falls
One of Oregon’s most iconic waterfalls and a must-see if you’ve never been to the area. This stunning two-tier waterfall drops over 600 feet and is only a short walk from the parking area. It’s the perfect quick stop for incredible views and photos. If you know the bride, you should know she also has a slight obsession with waterfalls and makes poor Conner stop for every single one. Another fun fact: the groom proposed at a waterfall!
McMenamins Edgefield
Part hotel, part winery, part brewery, part outdoor hangout — this place has a little bit of everything. Wander the gardens, grab a drink, listen to live music, or explore the quirky property. It’s a very “only in Oregon” kind of spot.
Powell's City of Books
A Portland icon and the largest independent bookstore in the world. Even if you’re not a huge reader, it’s fun to wander the endless rooms of books and quirky gifts. You could easily spend an hour exploring here.
Voodoo Doughnut
A Portland classic! Known for their over-the-top and wildly creative doughnuts, this spot is a fun late-night or morning stop if you’re exploring the city. Expect colorful treats, quirky flavors, and a true Portland experience.
Glendoveer Golf & Tennis
If you’re looking to sneak in a round of golf during the weekend, Glendoveer is a beautiful and accessible public course just outside Portland. With wide fairways and scenic views, it’s a great place to relax, play a round, and enjoy some Pacific Northwest greenery.

A super fun group activity! Topgolf combines golf with games, food, and drinks, making it a great spot whether you're a serious golfer or just looking for a fun night out with friends.
