Question

Is this an Adults-Only Wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones so much! However, due to venue safety (cliffsides + a pond/lake) and our vision for the evening, this will be an adults-only celebration. The only exceptions are our flower girl and infants under one year old who are breastfeeding. You may notice a few children in attendance — these are immediate family members and part of our wedding day. We hope you understand that this is a special exception and kindly ask that all other guests make childcare arrangements. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. That means no phones, cameras, or iPads during the ceremony please 🤍 We promise our photographer will capture every beautiful moment — we’d love for you to be fully present with us!

Question

What will be served at the bar?

Answer

We’ll be serving two signature cocktails, along with beer and seltzers and some mocktails! It is an open bar but please plan accordingly and celebrate responsibly — we want you on the dance floor all night with us!

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking is available on-site, but it is limited. Someone will be assisting with parking when you arrive. We highly encourage carpooling and rideshares if possible!

Question

Is everything outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. The ceremony will be on grass, and some areas of the venue include gravel pathways. Evenings in Oregon can cool down, so bringing a light jacket or wrap is a good idea.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. If you feel inclined to give, we have a registry and honeymoon fund linked on our website. We will also have a station for cards and other gifts at the venue but we appreciate your presence alone! Thank you for considering us 💗

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests who are listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be indicated when you RSVP.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 30th so we can finalize seating, catering, and all the fun details!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue, Bridal Veil Lakes, is tucked into the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and the drive up is part of the experience! From Portland (Eastbound): Take Interstate 84 East Take Exit 28 – Bridal Veil At the fork in the road, stay right and continue about 1 mile westbound on the Historic Columbia River Highway After you pass Bridal Veil Scenic Viewpoint State Park on the right, take the gravel road on the left — this is the entrance to the venue Follow the signs to Bridal Veil Lakes for about 1 mile From Hood River (Westbound): Take Interstate 84 West Take Exit 35 – Dodson Follow the Historic Columbia River Highway westbound for about 8 miles After you pass Bridal Veil Scenic Viewpoint State Park on the right, take the gravel road on the left Follow the signs to Bridal Veil Lakes for about 1 mile You can also find directions and a map on the venue’s website if needed. A quick note about the drive: The roads leading up to the venue are narrow and windy, but they are absolutely beautiful. Please drive slowly and enjoy the views as you make your way up the hill. If you’re not comfortable driving mountain or winding roads, we highly recommend carpooling or arranging a rideshare with other guests.

Question

How should I get home?

Answer

While we will have drinks available, transportation will not be provided. Please plan ahead and consider carpooling, designating a driver, or using a rideshare service.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to park, grab a seat, and get settled before we say “I do.”
