The iconic city where Ryan rescued Ari from her study abroad adventure during Covid in 2020! Only a 1 hour drive away from Certaldo, Florence is a must-see city. Be sure to climb up the Duomo di Firenze (Ryan climbed up it 4 times in a span of 5 days), visit the statue of David at the Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze, stroll through the Ponte Vecchio, take in the views at Piazzale Michelangelo, do some shopping at the Ferragamo headquarters (one of our favorites), and of course try a Florentine steak!
A small medieval town up in the Tuscan hills, only a 20 minute drive from Certaldo. If you have limited free time this is the perfect little town to stop at for an hour or two. Try a wild boar sandwich, do some shopping at the many shops, try some gelato at the world famous Gelateria Dondoli, walk up one of the medieval towers, and take in the views at Divinorum Wine Bar with a spritz in hand.
