What is the attire for the wedding day?

Answer

The attire for the wedding day is Tuscan formal. Think elegant but comfortable and suitable for warm weather. We suggest suits for men and maxi or midi dresses for women. Light colors, floral patterns, and breathable, lightweight fabrics are some style suggestions.

Answer

Yes, the wedding and all wedding weekend events will take place outdoors, weather permitting. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for gardens and stone pathways.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Tuscany in June is typically hot and sunny. Daytime temperatures will most likely be in the 80s to 90s, with warm evenings. Be sure to dress accordingly and bring sunscreen and sunglasses for daytime events.

What time should I plan to arrive to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 p.m. We recommend planning to arrive around 4:00 p.m. to allow yourself extra travel time if needed and time to get settled.

Answer

Music and vendor services will conclude at midnight, but you are welcome to stay a little longer and enjoy some more time together if you would like.

Are there taxi services in the area?

Answer

Taxi services in Tuscany are very limited. Therefore, we highly recommend renting a car. This way you are able to travel freely and enjoy all that Tuscany has to offer by driving through the countryside and visiting towns along the way. If you don't plan on exploring much, a private car service is an option to get you to and from events but it must be booked in advance. We have listed some private car service contacts on the travel & accommodations page of our site.

Transportation will be provided on the wedding day to and from the venue for guests staying at Il Rosolaccio B&B. For guests staying elsewhere, we recommend booking a private car service in advance. Recommended car service contacts will be listed on our travel page soon.

Yes, parking will be available on site at the venue for all three wedding weekend events.

Due to venue capacity limits, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. If your situation changes closer to the wedding, please reach out to us.

June is Italy's peak season for tourism. As the wedding date approaches, prices may begin to rise and availability can become limited. We recommend booking flights, accommodations, and car rentals as soon as possible.

What are some easily forgotten travel essentials you recommend packing?

Answer

We recommend packing a travel power adapter, some cash in euros, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes if you plan on exploring. If you will be attending the pool party on Sunday, June 21st, please pack a pool towel.
