FAQs

The Wedding Website of Thomas Robert Oyer and Archibald Maurice Page
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Tom or Archie if there’s any questions we didn’t answer!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We plan to mail formal invites in September/October and we’ll ask for final RSVPs by February 1, 2026.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but we’ll only be able to accommodate kids of the grooms’ families for the weekend.

Question

What is the weather typically like in Palm Springs during this time of year?

Answer

We expect Palm Springs to be clear skies and in the mid 70s to high 80s during the day and in the mid 60s at night.

Question

Where do I park the car if driving to Palm Springs?

Answer

Our host hotel Triada requires valet and that’s at a discounted rate of $25/night. Car pooling is encouraged. Also, Ubers/Lyfts are plentiful in Palm Springs.

Question

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The welcome party will be entirely outdoors; poolside at the hotel, so you can easily grab whatever you need from your room if you’re staying on property. On the wedding day, the ceremony will be on a lawn, so plan shoewear accordingly! The reception will be indoors immediately following.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Check the dress codes under “The Wedding Weekend” tab. We suggest “desert casual chic” for the welcome party - be comfortable! For the wedding day, we’re requesting cocktail attire. Ladies, the ceremony will be on a lawn, so you may want to try for chunky heels!

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

The venue is 1.4 miles from the hotel. We encourage carpooling via Uber/Lyft! Valet is also the only other option.

Question

Are you accepting gifts and do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is really the only gift we need! We are also maintaining a “home fund” for a down payment on a future home, if you would like to contribute something. Click on the Registry tab of the site.
