Red Rocks is not only a Colorado must see but the place where we saw our first concert together! Its only 30 minutes from Denver and can be visited almost anytime throughout the day. Go for the sunrise, a movie on the rocks, or a concert if you can! *check and make sure there are no events taking place if you intend to casually go

This isn't just any Chick-fil-A... it's THE Chick-fil-A! This place has been a part of our family story for years. We eat here at least once a week and highly recommend a visit if you find yourself in need of a quick lunch or a late night nugget run!
Bear Creek Lake Park
Reservoirs are the closest thing Colorado has to beaches, with Bear Creek being one of the best ones close to Denver. You can rent paddle boards and spend all day on the water! *it can get busy quickly, the earlier arrival time the better
Mount Blue Sky Byway
The scenic drives in Colorado are one of the best ways to really see the Rocky Mountain landscape without getting your feet dirty! Mount Blue Sky is not only one of the most beautiful drives climbing to over 14,000 ft, but sits at under an hour from Denver. You can stop along the byway to take in the views or even hop on a trail for a little hike! *if you plan to hang out at the top for lunch, bring some layers to stay warm
