FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal with joyful summer colors and patterns highly encouraged! We’re grateful to celebrate our ceremony in a Catholic church and kindly invite guests to choose attire that reflects the reverence of the setting.

Question

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place indoors, with a reception to follow that spans both indoor and outdoor spaces. Summer evenings can cool off, so we recommend bringing a light layer.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at Holy Ghost around 10:30 AM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before the processional begins. Catholic ceremonies follow a set liturgy and begin right on time, so we kindly ask guests to be seated before 11:00 AM!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve chosen to have an unplugged ceremony and kindly request that guests do not take photos during this time. We will be sure to share all professional photos once they have been received!

Question

How far is the church from the venue?

Answer

Holy Ghost and Bonnie Blues are about 45 minutes apart—we promise it will be worth the drive and truly appreciate you making the trip between the two!

Question

What time will cocktail hour start?

Answer

Cocktail hour will begin promptly following the ceremony, so please feel free to head to Bonnie Blues Event Venue as soon as the Mass concludes!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! We did our best to account for all the little ones in each RSVP already, but if we happened to miss anything please reach out to us so we can add them and plan accordingly. We’re so happy to celebrate with your whole family!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have carefully planned our guest list, and all invited guests (including plus ones) are reflected on your RSVP. If you do not see an option to include a guest when you RSVP, it means we are unfortunately unable to accommodate an additional plus one. We truly appreciate your understanding as we celebrate with our closest family and friends.
