Brittany joined the Wingfield family when she married her high school sweetheart, Carrie’s brother, Mike Wingfield. On top of owning her own counseling firm, Nurtured Hearts Counseling, and being the best Matron of Honor, she is an amazing momma to Corwin and Rowan (Carrie & Jon’s favorite nephews). Brittany is the sister Carrie always dreamed of and they enjoy watching the Bachelor, getting their nails done, talking about anything murder mystery related and playing family board games together. Carrie is blessed to have an amazing relationship with her sister-in-law and admires her so much.

Alexus Harper

Alexus and Carrie have been best friends since 5th grade. From sleepovers and prank calls to their crushes, to cruises, road trips and unforgettable memories, Alexus has been there with Carrie through it all. Alexus is in school to become an X-Ray Technologist, and as a friend, is beyond loyal, incredibly funny and has the most infectious laugh (get Carrie and Alexus together and there will be non-stop laughter). It’s a life goal for them to have kids and force them to be best friends. If their future kids have the type of treasured relationship that Carrie and Alexus have, they will have a blessing for life. Alexus currently lives in Wyoming with her amazing husband, Jordan, but comes down to see Carrie and her family as much as she can.

Kelsey Rowley

Kelsey and Carrie have been best friends since 7th grade. Their mutual love for crafts, creative thrills, love of animals and adoration of cookie dough brought them together for a lifetime-long friendship. Kelsey moved to Seattle for several years where Carrie went to visit often and created the best memories together. Carrie is happy to report that Kelsey is back home in Colorado, with her new fiancé, Nathan, where she now works with Carrie in her business, Carried Away Creative. Their dream come true! From dress-making and epic costumes, to lavender infused drinks and hand-made Bengals decor, Kelsey is a crafting queen and inspires everyone around her. She is such a blessing in Carrie’s life.

Jordan Brown

Jordan and Carrie met each other their junior year of college and their hearts and humor instantly recognized each other. From making incredible, self-choreographed music videos and Sonic runs, to celebrating their favorite holiday the entire month of October and cementing their bond over blink182, Jordan became an instant sister and a cherished best friend. Jordan and her dreamy husband, Shea, live in Tennessee and are expecting their first beautiful baby in July of 2022. Carrie is beyond excited to be an Auntie to their sweet baby. Expect amazing dance moves to come from this hot momma!

Brooke Kovaleski

Brooke and Carrie became next door neighbors at the young age of 6. They instantly bonded over their like-minded ingenuity, from hand-built tree houses, to magic shows and self-written plays – no idea was unreachable for these girls. Brooke is the life of any party and such a joy to be around. Carrie is thankful to have such an incredible history of growing up and enjoying new adventures together. They still enjoy all things Nancy Drew and any type of mystery or escape room. Brooke will be marrying the love of her life, Frank, this December in a gorgeous destination wedding in Mexico that Carrie and Jon are honored to attend.

Leah and Carrie met through their mutual child-hood friend, Brooke, and their laughter around each other was always non-stop. Carrie and Leah attended a youth group together all throughout high school and it was easy to see that their friendship would last forever. Leah’s personality is adorable, genuine, infectious and she throws the most amazing Halloween parties with epic costumes. Leah and Carrie have been there and supported each other throughout their life with boys, music and camping. Carrie was a bridesmaid in Leah’s wedding to the most hilarious and life-of-the-party man, Donlin. If you are needing any electrician work done, talk to the Buckinghams, they do amazing work and are family-owned.

Devonte Miller

Best Man

Devonte and Jon have been best friends since high school. From wrestling, where Jon pinned Devonte on Jon’s second day of practice–aka “the beginning of their epic friendship”, and late games of Call of Duty, to hosting crazy parties and unforgettable college memories, they have been through so much together. Devonte currently runs a dealership out in Arkansas, and even though Devonte hasn’t been to Colorado yet, he is Jon’s most treasured friend. Jon is so thankful for him and the support and memories they have given each other over the years. Expect an amazing, funny, emotional and unforgettable Best Man speech from the man with a gift for storytelling.

Josh Apple

Josh is 6 years younger than Jon. Even though their age was significant growing up, they have the deepest love for each other as brothers. They get to bond frequently over hours of Apex on the Xbox and even though they are in different states, they talk frequently. Their childhood was filled with shooting each other with paintballs, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, enjoying Mawmaw’s roast and Jon prides himself on taking Josh to his first college party. They both cherish family and are looking forward to more family vacations and adventures together in the future.

Jarrad Doolittle

Jarrad, also known as “Doolittle” was one of Jon’s first closest friends after moving to Colorado. They met at their current job with Trailers Plus, where they opened the Denver location together. They recognized each other’s work ethic and connected on their mutual love for music. Jarrad took Jon to his first Red Rock’s show and introduced Jon to an entire new genre of trippy music. They enjoy watching UFC fights, eating Chick’fil’a chicken nuggets, talking politics and being there for one another. Jarrad has the best stories and an impressive collection of Soundtribe posters in his home. Ask him about his record collection, it’s impressive.

Erik Krause

Erik, also known as “Krause” and Jon met each other while both working at Trailers Plus. Erik inspired Jon to pursue a degree in welding and continue to cheer each other on within their current careers. Their mutual love for sweet tea, bowling strikes, being raised in the south, wrestling and UFC instantly forged their friendship. Erik is currently working in Loveland as a welder and they get to see each other whenever there is a pay-per-view in UFC. Jon is incredibly thankful for their friendship and has a huge admiration for Erik and what he has overcome in his life.

Nick Freeman

Nick, also known as “Freeman” and Jon have been amazing friends since high school. Anytime you get these two White County, Arkansas, born and raised natives together there will be nonstop laughter from reminiscing the good old days, screaming at the tv cheering on the Razorbacks, and a shared love, fear and respect for Donna Freeman, Nick’s mom and Jon’s second mom. Jon and Nick are mutual foodies and enjoy a great steak, entertaining stories and laughing all night long. Life has taken them on different journeys, but their love for each other has never faded. They have helped each other during hard times and have celebrated each other’s dreams and successes. Jon will never forgive Nick for not loving seafood the way that Jon does.

Jacob Corpier

Jacob, also known as “Corp” or “Corpier”, and Jon met in wrestling during high school. Corpier was a year younger than Jon, but Jon convinced Corp to check out the wrestling team because they were needing another wrestler in the 103 class. They instantly became friends after Devonte, the best man, crunched his beloved Pontiac in highschool by hitting a curb too hard and Corpier’s mom, Kelli, picked them all up and took them home. Corpier’s family became Jon’s second family and supported each other throughout high school and college.

Mike Wingfield

Mike is Carrie’s brother and after meeting Jon during Carrie’s college graduation, Mike instantly enjoyed Jon’s humor, accent and mutual love for games. Mike brought out Jon’s love for board games like Gloomhaven, Settlers of Catan, Mysterium and so many others, and often get together to have a family game night. Their mutual love for sports, politics, bowling and cooking made it easy for them to become fast friends. Jon admires Mike for owning his own development company and creating apps and programs for different companies. Mike is an amazing dad to his two sons, Corwin, the ring bearer, and Rowan. Jon is hoping to start a bowling team with Mike and Carrie’s Dad, also Mike, and join a bowling league together.

Russell Pilcher

Officiant

Russell Pilcher has been a treasured family friend since Carrie was born. From witnessing Carrie's first steps to guiding her under his wing on how to own and operate her own business, Russell has been there with the Wingfield family through it all. Originally from Louisiana, Russell recently moved from Colorado to Arizona with his phenomenal wife, Betty. Although they are no longer in Colorado, Jon and Carrie couldn't imagine anyone else as a mentor, friend and wisdom-filled man-of-God to marry them. Look forward to tears, laughter and amazing stories from this legendary man.

Corwin Wingfield

Ring Bearer

Jon is so thankful to have his nephew, Corwin, whom he has indoctrinated into the lifestyle and love for the Arkansas Razorbacks, get to be part of their wedding. Jon loves to play and wrestle with Corwin any time they go over to Mike and Brittany’s house. Corwin turned 3 in December 2021 and is such a smart and hilarious little man and the best big brother to Rowan. Fun fact, if you say “Woo Pig” to Corwin, he will yell it back in pure Arkansas delight. Corwin will be the ring bearer and a dancing fanatic at the wedding, although he may be shy at first, his smile is the cutest thing this side of the Mississippi.

Rowan Wingfield

Rowan, also known as "Rowie", is Corwin's little brother and has the most charming laugh and smile. He will be a little over a year old when Carrie and Jon say "I do". Rowie is Corwin's biggest cheerleader and adores his auntie and uncle. Jon is already working on Rowie to love and breathe the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Murphy Boy

The Fur Baby

Murphy is Jon & Carrie's little fur baby. He will be attending the ceremony as they can't imagine not having him part of their big day. Murphy loves his frisbee, cuddles and kisses with anyone that comes over, napping by the fire and showing off all his tricks. Murphy is a little shy at first, but once you become friends, he is the happiest boy in the world and will love you forever.
