Easy paved walk up to the historic Civilian Conservation Corps observatory erected from lava rock on a large lava flow. Great views of the Three Sisters and other Cascade peaks. *Note- Highway 242 is only open weather permitting, and depending on snowpack might still be closed in early July.
Sahalie Falls
Both Koosah and Sahalie Falls have parking lots and are a short paved walk to the viewing area. The falls are also connected via the McKenzie River Trail, if you want to park and one and hike to the other.

Tamolitch Falls (Blue Pool)
One of the most iconic hikes in the state. about 4 miles out and back and worth every step. Note* Don't try and swim here, the water is fed from an underground spring and stays frigid all year.

One of the best places on the coast for fresh Oregon Dungeness. Great spot to stop on the coast between Tillamook and the Cannon Beach area. A bit of a hole in the wall, but you can pick your crab out of a tank and they will boil it up for you right there. Eat it there or take it home to re-steam for later. Always delicious!
