Hotel Block Information

After the hold dates, rooms will be released to the general public and the discounted rates we have won’t be honored. We are only able to block a certain number of rooms at a time, and the rest of the hotel is open to the public for that weekend. Please make sure to book well in advance to secure your hotel room. These hotel blocks will block off rooms for 2 nights (Friday, August 18, 2023 and Saturday, August 19, 2023) with checkout being Sunday morning. All hotels have check-in starting at 3:00pm, and checkout is at 11:00am. You do have the option to stay for only 1 night instead of both, and you will receive the discounted rate for that 1 night. To make your reservations online, please scroll to the bottom of the description of the hotel of your choice and click the view button. All hotels are located less than 20 minutes away from our venue. If you are interested in staying in any of the hotels more than those 2 nights, you must call the specific hotel to set up your reservation. You also do have the option to call the hotel if you would like to set up your reservation that way, instead of using the online links. Just make sure to mention it is for the Apel and Klein wedding so you receive the discounted wedding rate. If one hotel block is already filled, please check the other blocks for availability. And if all 3 are filled before the hold date, please reach out to Joshua immediately so he can look into having more rooms added. We can't guarantee more rooms will be added, which is why we recommend you book as early as possible.

Airport Options

For those that will be flying in for the wedding, please note there are 2 options for airports to fly into. The first one, and the larger of the two, is Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). DTW is a little over an hour away from our venue (75 miles), it is straight down I-94, which is the main freeway the airport is located off of. The second airport option is the Capital Region International Airport (LAN) located in Lansing. While this airport is the smaller of the two, it is closer to our venue, about 50 minutes away (41 miles).

Shuttle

Golden Limousine

August 19, 2023 4:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Shuttle will be picking up guests from Courtyard and Towneplace at 4:00pm in front of the Courtyard Hotel. The shuttle will make its second stop at the Holiday Inn shortly after to take guests to Rustic Escapes. There will also be a shuttle service taking guests back to the same hotels, as well as anyone who is unable to drive back. The shuttle will be leaving the venue at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30pm. To ensure the safety of our guests, as well as those around, we ask those who are too tired, or intoxicated and do not have a designated driver, to please use the shuttle service. Your car can stay at the venue overnight, but it is your responsibility to find a way back to pick it up before 11:00am Sunday morning.
