Absolutely! We love children and want them to be a part of the celebration. In fact, we have even hired someone to watch over the littles after dinner while you party away with us. There will be a dedicated kid's zone in the loft where we will provide them with games, activities, and snacks! Note: the caregiver is there only to watch over your child to ensure they are being safe and having fun in the kid zone. If your child needs to use the restroom it will be your parental obligation to take them as she cannot leave the other children unattended.
Yes, we will be purchasing what we believe will be enough alcohol to last the night, however, there will be limited options and only while supplies last. We will also have plenty of non-alcoholic beverages to serve you.
Yes, there will be parking attendants there to guide you into a spot. The parking is only a few hundred feet from both the ceremony and reception sites. There are very limited handicap spots so please only use these if you absolutely require it and save it for those who truly need it.
Dinner will be buffet style and the main course options will all be meat options, however, there will be macaroni n' cheese, garden salad, coleslaw, cornbread, and dinner rolls.
No, we will not host a formal cocktail hour after the ceremony, we plan on going straight into the reception and dinner. However, before the ceremony, we will have light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres.
Absolutely! In fact, we require those who are intoxicated and do not have a designated driver to do so. Or if you're feeling too tired you can do this, too. However, it will be your responsibility to find a ride back to the ceremony site to pick up your car, and must be picked up before 11:00am. Please note the bride, groom, and owner of Rustic Escapes have the right to ask you to ride the shuttle back. We would like everyone to enjoy themselves, but we want everyone to be safe and responsible.
Everyone! The Rehearsal Dinner is only for those involved in the rehearsal. The Welcome Event will take place immediately following the Rehearsal Dinner as a chance for family and friends to say hi to the bride and groom, as well as get to know each other before the big day. We encourage everyone to attend if able to as it ensures quality time spent with the bride and groom before the big day.
Please do not arrive any earlier than 4:45pm. The bride and groom will be taking the majority of their pictures before the ceremony, and want to make sure no one sees the bride in her dress before the start of the ceremony. Specific family members will be notified by the bride and groom when to arrive for photos. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided before the ceremony begins in place of cocktail hour.
At the ceremony, guests are not allowed to take any photos. Ashleigh and Joshua have hired a professional photographer and videographer, and they do not want someone's cell phone to get in the way of their magical moment. Also, the bride and groom want to be the ones to post ceremony pictures on social media. As for the reception, absolutely!
You may not bring an additional unknown guest unless specified in your invitation. You may reach out to Joshua to inquire further, if necessary.
