Our wedding weekend also coincides with the Covered Bridge Festival 2026 weekend, Indiana's largest festival for all things fall! Greencastle is only 20 miles (35 minutes) away from Bridgeton, IN, which is one of the more popular locations, containing an array of handmade crafts, vendors, and a food court. All locations have a little something for everyone and are worth checking out if you plan to be in the area prior to wedding day!

If you're looking to enjoy the area's natural beauty, this is a great place to start. The DePauw Nature Park’s nine-mile moderately trafficked loop trail features a lake, wildlife and bird-watching. The trails are rated as moderate, offer a number of activity options and are accessible year-round.

Big Walnut's 2,600 acres contains a nature preserve and two trail systems focusing on both the upland and lowland forests.
