We Do!

Seth started working at the Center for Healthy Living gym at Sarah Bush Hospital in August of 2021. Chelsea had been a long-term member of the gym and remembered seeing Seth on his very first day of work...only because he really stuck out wearing a red Cardinals t-shirt compared to the blues and greys of his coworkers (he wasn't given his uniform yet). Seth and Chelsea were officially introduced to one another by another fellow gym member, Rich Fanelli. Chelsea and Seth were friendly with one another and would make small conversations on occasion. Seth really caught Chelsea's attention one morning while working out because he was practically running...on the stair master cardio machine. Chelsea approached Seth when he finished his workout and said, "Who hurt you?!" Chelsea and Seth's friendship grew stronger following Chelsea reaching out to Seth on social media. He asked her out on a first date, which took place on October 22nd, 2021. They went out to dinner at a local restaurant called Roc's Blackfront Tavern & Grill. Seth was a gentleman and asked for Chelsea's address and responded with, "I know exactly where that is" because he had previously lived in the apartment complex next door to Chelsea's just a few months prior. There were mixed reviews of the date, depending on who you ask, but Seth became quickly busy with hunting season, and they didn't go on their second date until the beginning of December. Seth took Chelsea to the Candy Canes on Main event in Casey. Chelsea and Seth had a great time at the event, but unfortunately, Chelsea was going through a very difficult time period following the loss of her grandfather, and decided to place things on hold with her relationship with Seth. Seth was very supportive, understanding, and went above and beyond to comfort Chelsea during this difficult time. They remained friendly with one another and would spend time together outside of the gym. Over time, Chelsea felt more and more comfortable letting her guard down, as Seth provided her with a sense of safety and comfort. He showed up on her apartment doorstep on Valentine's Day with a bouquet of flowers and a card and the rest is history. Chelsea and Seth probably have the longest "talking stage" of all time because they did not officially start dating until June 26th, 2022. Chelsea and Seth love fitness and living an active lifestyle and have spent many wonderful evenings at Lake Charleston, which made it the perfect place for Seth to officially ask Chelsea to be his girlfriend. Chelsea and Seth have been inseparable ever since, excluding hunting season. ;)
