Is there a Dress code?

Fancy, vibrant, loud, playful, glamorous. Note: The bride will be wearing green. The groom will be wearing velvet. Go big, have fun.

We found that rates were cheaper when purchased individually as compared to the numbers we got back for group rates.

how do i get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
Check the Travel Tab! The venue is in downtown Dartmouth which means it is accessible via very short drive, Uber, public transit, or walking from most hotels in Halifax or Dartmouth.

Is the venue indoors?
Answer
Yes! The venue is a desanctified church that has been converted into a theatre. The Ceremony and Reception are both in the same place.

how accessible is the venue?
Answer
There are stairs to the main entrance but there is a side door available for those who need it. We will include a section in the invitations for any other notes, please let us know in your invitation if any other accommodations are needed.

what's parking like at the venue?
Answer
No parking lot so either cruise around the blocks until you find somewhere to park, no charges on the weekend. Uber or walking is best, or carpooling together.

what's halifax like in October?
Answer
October in Halifax is gorgeous with mild weather, think light coat, maybe a sweater at night if you are out and about. Everyone looks good in layers anyway!

There will be a space on your upcoming invitation to indicate any food allergies.

how do you feel about cell phones?
Answer
Please don't take them out during the ceremony, just chill and relax, we have a wedding photographer to handle the glamour shots during the ceremony. Once it all turns into a wild party, go nuts, and please send us any good ones! That being said, we would always prefer you to be as present as possible.
