Antonia and David are incredibly special to Shannon, and she is excited to share their special day! Shannon ha sido la mejor amiga de Antonia desde la universidad. Se conocieron a través de su dedicacion al servicio comunitario, y se unieron aun más por su amor por a los animales, por la comida, y porque las dos le ven el parecido a David con Mojo Jojo de las Chicas Superpoderosas! Antonia y David son increíblemente especiales para Shannon, y está emocionada de compartir su día especial!

Nancy became friends with David during undergrad and they have been going on adventures and eating their way through cities since. Her inability to swim and David teaching her, indirectly brought David and Antonia together, so she no longer regrets passing on those swim lessons as a kid! Nancy y David se hicieron amigos durante su pregrado, y han viajado juntos y compartido toda clase de comida desde entonces. Su inabilidad de nadar y tener a David enseñándole ayudo indirectamente a que David y Antonia se conocieran, asi que ya no lamenta no haber tomado clases de natacion cuando era chiquita!

Though Ale and Toni sometimes fight, they ground and comfort each other when they need it. After 17 years of being sisters they know everything about each other and have been said to be identical - in how they talk, act and even their interests. After David told Alejandra about his few possible ways to pop the question, she kindly told him that she would slap him if he chose any other option than the song. A pesar de sus peleas, Antonia y Ale siempre se apoyan cuando lo necesitan. Con 17 años como hermanas, saben todo la una de la otra. Todo el mundo les dice que son identicas - en como hablan, actúan, y en sus intereses. Cuando David le conto a Ale sus ideas de como proponer matrimonio, ella le dijo con mucho cariño que lo iba a chachetear si escogía algo que no fuera la canción.

Juan has been friends with David for 5 years, during which they have been roommates, study buddies, and confidantes. He has witnessed David and Toni’s relationship evolve from the beginning, from David’s courtship, to their adoption of two baby kittens, and now is excited about their engagement and wedding! Juan y David son amigos desde hace 5 años, durante los cuales han vivido juntos, estudiado juntos, y siempre han podido confiar el uno en el otro. El ha visto y ayudó a facilitar la relación de David y Antonia desde el principio, después su adopción de los gatitos, y ahora está feliz de participar en su matrimonio!

Daniel has been close friends with Antonia for nearly a decade, going together through their awkwardness as teenagers, for which they still tease each other today. He is proud to be one of the few individuals to have been trusted with the temporary custody of Antonia and David’s cats! Daniel ha sido el mejor amigo de Antonia desde hace casi una década, pasando juntos todos los años penosos de la adolescencia, por los cuales todavia se burlan el uno del otro. El está muy orgulloso de ser una de las pocas personas en quienes David y Antonia han confiado para cuidar sus gatitos!

Yoel has been close friends with David (Friskis) since middle school when they both thought they were spies and tried to decipher the non-existent mysteries of the school. They used to climb trees and go on all the roofs of the school back in Colombia (they both still climb trees). They both studied Mechanical Engineering and Yoel recently moved to DC so now they live close to each other once again. Yoel ha sido amigo de David (Friskis) desde primaria cuando los dos pensaban que eran espías y trataban de descifrar los inexistentes misterios del colegio. Solían treparse a los árboles y a los techos del colegio en Colombia (y siguen trepando árboles hoy en día). Los dos estudiaron ingeniería mecánica, y viven de nuevo cerca el uno del otro, ya que Yoel se fue a vivir a DC!

Christina has been friends with Antonia for nearly a decade! They’ve been together through countless show choir productions, adventuring through college together, and bonding over being cat moms. She is so excited to share in Antonia and David’s big day and to continue making memories with them along the way! Christina y Antonia han sido amigas por casi una década! Han pasado juntas muchas producciones musicales, aventuras en la universidad, y momentos especiales ya que las dos son mamás de gatos. Está muy emocionada de compartir con Antonia y David en su gran día y de poder continuar creaando memorias y planes con ellos en el futuro!

Ethan and David met six years ago in undergrad, and quickly discovered they have a lot in common: a love of making things, hiking, and cats. He also got to witness up close how much happier David was with Antonia around, and the amazing way they’ve grown as a couple, and he’s honored to be a part of this amazing day! Ethan is the reason D&A adopted their cat Leo! Ethan y David se conocíeron hace 6 años durante el pregrado, y rápidamente se dieron cuenta que tenían muchos intereses in común: construir cosas, hacer excursiones, y los gatos. Ethan pudo ver como David se volvió una persona más feliz con Antonia a su alrededor, y la forma maravillosa como han crecido juntos; está honrado de poder acompañarlos en este día tan especial! Ethan es la razon por la cual D&A adoptaron a su gato Leo!

I can honestly say I have been friends with Antonia since the day she was born. Growing up together has shown me that neither time nor distance can separate people that are (literally) born to be friends. I couldn’t be more proud of joining Antonia and David at the beginning of the rest of their lives! Sinceramente puedo afirmar que he sido amiga de Antonia desde el día en que nació. Habernos criadas juntas me ha demostrado que ni el tiempo ni la distancia puede separar a personas que (literalmente) nacieron para ser amigas. Estoy muy orgullosa de acompañar a Antonia y David en el principio del resto de sus vidas!

David and Ryan bonded over a shared passion for design and helped each other work through several projects. After introducing David and Antonia to his cooler, better-behaved wife Nadia, Ryan was finally allowed to hang out with David outside of school activities. Ryan is very excited to be part of the wedding, even though he's suspicious that he was invited because it would be rude to only invite Nadia! David y Ryan tienen una pasión compartida por el diseño, y trabajaron juntos en varios proyectos. Después de presentarle a David y Antonia a su encantadora y mejor comportada esposa Nadia, a Ryan al fin le dieron permiso de salir con David fuera del colegio. Ryan está muy emocionado de ser parte de la boda, aunque sospecha que solo lo invitaron porque sería grosero invitar solo a Nadia!

Luisa is thrilled to be part of one of the most important and happiest days of Antonia and David’s life. Antonia fue la primera amiga de Luisa! Desde chiquitas jugaban, peleaban y se molestaban mutuamente, cosas que, con los años y la distancia, no han podido desaparecer del todo. Luisa está muy feliz de ser parte de uno de los días más importantes y felices de la vida de Antonia y David.

Billy has known Toni and David for the past three years and as their love for service, Disney and cats grew over time, so did their friendship. From the time he visited Toni at the hospital at 3am to the first time David ever called him Pumbaa, he always knows they are the youngest/oldest couple he can turn to for guidance and support Billy conoce a Toni y David desde hace 3 años, y a medida que su amor por el servicio comunitario, Disney, y los gatos creció, también creció su amistad. Desde que visitó a Toni en el hospital a las 3am, y la primera vez que David lo llamo Pumbaa, Billy siempre ha sabido que ellos son la pareja más joven y mas vieja con la que puede contar para darle apoyo y amistad.

Henrietta and Antonia met in 2009 at secondary school in Berlin, where they were part of a 6 man clique called the FEAFs -Freaking Epic Awesome Friends- (Pew didn’t like the term bff). The girls have since dispersed to the US, Greece, England, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Korea. Despite the geographical distance, Henrietta and Antonia have remained close friends, and they share a love for cats, art, Disney, and anything musical! Henrietta y Antonia se conocieron en secundaria en Berlín en el 2009. Ellas eran parte de un grupo de 6 mejores amigas llamadas las FEAFs. Hoy en día viven en US, Grecia, Inglaterra, Bangladesh, Malasia, y Korea. A pesar de la distancia, siguen siendo muy buenas amigas y comparten un amor a los gatos, el arte, Disney, y cualquier cosa musical!

Kelly and Antonia have been friends since high school! Despite going to different colleges, they have stayed close friends thanks to lots of movie watching, crafting, sleepovers, dank memes, and visiting as often as possible. She’s so happy for Antonia and David and can’t wait to celebrate with them! She won’t be able to attend the wedding, but we love her a lot! Kelly y Antonia han sido amigas desde el bachillerato! A pesar de haberse separado cuando fueron a universidades diferentes, se mantuvieron amigas cercanas gracias a las noches de películas y artes, memes, y muchas visitas entre las dos. Ella está muy feliz por Antonia y David y no puede esperar para poder celebrar con ellos! No va a poder atender la boda, pero la queremos mucho!
