In the summer of 2024, we embarked on a journey to Greece and discovered the enchanting island of Hydra (Idra in Greek). Nestled in the Aegean Sea, this gem is part of the Saronic Islands and quickly stole our hearts. Hydra is a haven of history and natural beauty, where time seems to stand still. What truly sets it apart is its car-free policy—no vehicles are allowed on the island, so life here revolves around walking and the occasional mule. As you wander through its cobbled streets, it feels as though you’ve stepped back in time, surrounded by breathtaking vistas that take your breath away at every turn.
