Silver Plume is about 70 miles or roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes west of Denver International Airport (DEN) via Interstate-70 (I-70), Colorado's main east-west route. DEN offers several rental car options.

Transportation From Airport to Downtown Denver & Silver Plume
We do recommend renting a car at the airport, especially if you are staying in Silver Plume, or nearby towns–Georgetown, or Idaho Springs–as there are no Ride-Sharing Services (Uber/Lyft) in the mountains. If you are planning to stay Downtown Denver or in the Denver area, and carpool to Silver Plume for the wedding, we recommend commuting via public transits or using Ride-Sharing Services. The A-train (Public Transit) will take you to Union Station (Downtown Denver) in just 45 minutes. * Silver Plume, Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Empire and Evergreen all have some great Airbnb options if you want to plan a proper Colorado weekend in the mountains!
