The reception is about a 6-minute walk, roughly 0.3 miles from the church. Our plan is for all our family members and guests (with no physical restrictions) to join us for a walk with live music. Please contact us directly if you're unable to walk, and we will make alternative arrangements.
September 18, in Silver Plum, Colorado. The wedding ceremony will be held at the former Methodist Church of Silver Plume, located at 455 Hancock Street. The wedding reception will be at Bread Bar, located at 1010 Main Street.
Silver Plume is at 9,000 feet above sea level! Most people don't notice a huge difference, but it can be a lot if you live on the coast. Please drink twice the water you normally do, add in electrolytes, limit alcohol and caffeine, and take it easy for the first 24-48 hours. The air is dry and thin, making hydration, slow activity, and gradual elevation increases (like staying in Denver before the mountains) key to avoiding altitude sickness.
We have shared several lodging options under the Travel section.
No! We will not provide any transportation to Silver Plume. Please refer to our Travel section for more information on getting around from Denver International Airport.
We are happy to accommodate your dietary restrictions. Please let us know what you would need ASAP!
Yes! We will have several mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages available.
Ready to Party! Business Casual and Mountain West attire are fine. Please note that the weather in Colorado is very unpredictable in the fall, especially in the mountains, with afternoon highs and significant drops at night, so plan accordingly.
