Flight
NYC has several airports, but LaGuardia is definitely the easiest for domestic flights and is only a short car ride from all hotel and rental suggestions. If you have a choice of any, this is the one we would recommend the most! Rideshare/Taxi (Estimated 20-30 mins): Depending on destination this should range from $50+. There is no subway connected to this airport, so rideshare apps are fastest.
Flight
JFK is another option for domestic travel, however it is a little bit further. JFK is our suggested option regarding international travel as Newark Airport is considerably further from all hotel and rental suggestions. Rideshare/Taxi (Estimated 45-60 minutes): Depending on destination this should range from $70+. Public Transit (Estimated 1 hour): [AirTrain] $8.50 to either Jamaica Station for the E train or Howard Beach for the A train. [Subway] $3 to connect into the subway system via the E or A trains mentioned above.
Flight
Newark is the most distant and complex airport for reaching the venue. An Uber into Manhattan typically exceeds $100, and will cost even more to reach the venue area. Public Transit Option (Estimated 1.5–2 hours): [AirTrain] Take this from your terminal to the Newark Liberty Airport Station. [NJ Transit / Amtrak] Board a train bound for NY Penn Station (Moynihan Train Hall). [Local Travel] From NY Penn Station, you can easily catch the NYC Subway or a more affordable rideshares to your final destination. Important Notes: *Do not get off the train early at Newark Penn Station; wait until you reach the final stop - New York Penn Station! *Some NJ Transit routes may require a quick transfer at Secaucus Junction.

Train
There are plenty of options within the city to get to and from the venue and any other plans you have for the weekend! The subway and buses are all equipped with OMNY tap to pay and cost $3 per ride. If you’re staying for a while or have a packed itinerary, we recommend using the same card or device for every ride. After 12 paid trips in a week, any additional rides are free! Uber and Lyft are abundant and NYC yellow Cabs can be hailed on the street - just like in the movies! For short distances, cabs can sometimes be a few dollars cheaper, but longer treks are more consistent on the apps. If driving to NYC, we'd recommend using hotel parking and then opting for other transit options for the weekend as free parking can be difficult to come by, and public garages/lots can be very costly! Vista LIC Hotel: [Subway - $3] The 7 train is a short walk and transfers one stop later to the G train at Court Square. In two more stops you'll arrive to Greenpoint Ave, about 8 minutes walk from the venue! [Bus -$3] The B62 is a direct route, but requires some walking before and after. [Uber - $20-25] 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Holiday Inn Express LIC: [Subway - N/A] No useful lines nearby. [Bus -$3] The B24 (towards Greenpoint West St) picks up 3 blocks away and drops off right near the venue! [Uber - $15-20] 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. However you choose to get around the city, we hope you enjoy the hustle and bustle of NYC public transit! Don't be afraid to ask questions as well - New Yorkers are friendlier than they appear at first! :)
