Answer

Please let us know if you can make it by March 15th. You can RSVP right here on this website!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space constraints at the venue, we can only accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. If your invite says “and Guest,” you’re all set!

Question

Are children invited?Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults-only with a few special exceptions. We want you to enjoy a well-deserved weekend off with us in the city!

Question

What is the dress code? What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday Evening (Jun 19th): Smart Casual; no need to pack an extra blazer or heels, just come in what makes you feel good! Think happy hour with colleagues. Saturday Ceremony/Reception (June 20th): This is your chance to dress up and show off; we want you to feel fancy and festive and genuinely to upstage the grooms! Go big or go home! (Just kidding...stay please!) Think bright & bold colors, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, a sharp suit & tie, feathers, maybe some bling, or flashy blazer. There are no rules so just have fun with it!

Question

What time should I arrive? What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We recommend arriving at the Greenpoint Loft 20–30 minutes early to enjoy the space, mingle, and grab a seat.

Question

How do I get to the venue? How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Once a pre-WWII rope factory, this restored warehouse maintains its industrial soul with original brick walls and massive timber beams. The venue is located on the 5th floor of this multipurpose complex. When you arrive at the main entrance, follow the signage to the elevators, which will take you directly up to the loft. Greenpoint is easily accessible via the G train from Brooklyn and Long Island City (Greenpoint Ave station) or the NYC Ferry from Manhattan (Greenpoint stop). Uber and Lyft are also abundant. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all happen in the same space, so no further travel is needed once you arrive! Please refer to our Travel page for a detailed breakdown of transit and airport options.

Question

Is there parking nearby? Is there parking nearby?

Answer

Parking in Greenpoint can be very tricky. There is no dedicated lot for the venue, and street parking is limited and unpredictable. We highly recommend using a rideshare app or public transportation.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The Greenpoint Loft has an elevator to take guests from the ground floor up to our ceremony and reception. Please note that the cocktail hour will occur on the loft which is only accessible by stairs. If stairs aren't your thing, our bar team will be sure to keep your glass full on the main floor.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at the Greenpoint Loft. However, there is a rooftop terrace with incredible views of the Manhattan skyline that will be accessible during cocktail hour and reception (weather permitting).

Question

Can I take photos at the ceremony? Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture the big moments. We kindly ask that you keep your phones away to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Once we’re at the reception, feel free to snap and share away!

Question

What happens between the ceremony and reception? What happens between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

No "gap" here! We are heading straight into cocktail hour on the loft immediately following the ceremony. There will be drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and plenty of skyline views to keep you occupied while the main floor is set up to party!

Question

How will dinner/seating be working? How will dinner/seating be working?

Answer

While there will be no formal sit down dinner or assigned seating, we promise you will not go hungry! We are having a "freeform" style wedding, where everyone is allowed to mingle freely and keep the energy building throughout the night. There will be plenty of food between hors d'oeuvres, heavier passed dishes, a full grazing table, and desserts. There will be a mix of high top and low top tables, and seating will be spread throughout the venue to socialize and take dance breaks when needed!

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions? What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We want everyone to eat well! While there is no individualized entrée selection, we've worked with our incredible catering team to develop a robust and worldly menu with a wide variety of dishes being served. That being said, please make sure to note any allergies or specific dietary restrictions (Vegan, Gluten-Free, etc.) when you submit your RSVP so we can accommodate accordingly.

Question

Will there be a Pittsburgh Cookie Table? Will there be a Pittsburgh Cookie Table?

Answer

We are so glad you asked! There WILL be a Pittsburgh Cookie Table! For those who don't know, this is a tradition in Pittsburgh where friends and family members bring their favorite cookies to contribute to the desert table, adding a personal touch to an already incredible evening. This is completely optional, however, if you'd like to participate, please let us know in your RSVP. We will follow up closer to the big day for details.

Question

Do I need cash for the bar?Do I need cash for the bar?

Answer

Nope! The bar tab is on us, but tips for our hardworking bartenders are always appreciated!

Question

Can I request a Song?Can I request a Song?

Answer

We are so excited to have an incredible live band joining us for the night! They will perform multiple sets of high-energy music specifically designed to keep the party going. Because their sets are carefully curated to ensure the best flow for the evening, they won’t be able to take individual song requests. We promise, however, that you’ll love the vibe they’ve created—just bring your dancing shoes!

Question

Will there be an afterparty? Will there be an afterparty?

Answer

For those who aren’t ready to call it a night, there are plenty of great bars within walking distance in Greenpoint. We may or may not be migrating to a local spot for a nightcap—stay tuned for an announcement at the end of the reception!
