Both! Our welcome party will primarily take place outdoors, therefore ensure you bring a coat to keep you warm as the sun sets. Our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors until 8 p.m., where we will move the party indoors with the DJ due to sound restrictions in Lake Como.
In October, expect classic autumn weather across northern Italy, particularly in Milan and Lake Como. Daytime temperatures will range from the high 50s to mid-60s, with cooler evenings dipping into the low 50s.
Rain or shine, our celebration will continue! In the event of inclement weather, our dinner and reception will move indoors, ensuring a perfect day no matter what nature has in store. If rain is in the forecast, we recommend bringing umbrellas.

Laglio: For the most convenient experience and proximity to our venue, we recommend staying in this village. Airbnbs offer more flexibility here and may even be within walking distance to the venue. Keep in mind hotel options are limited in this intimate location, but we highly recommend exploring available options. Cernobbio: After our celebration, all boat guests will be dropped off at the Cernobbio ferry station, conveniently located near numerous hotels and Airbnbs. This location offers an ideal balance, with just a 7-10 minute drive to our venue and a 25-minute drive to Como City center. Como City: While offering the most extensive range of accommodations across all budgets, Como City is approximately a 35-minute drive from our venue. Regardless of where you choose to stay, we strongly advise scheduling a dedicated taxi drop-off and pick-up service. Public transportation and ride-sharing options are limited in the area, particularly during evening hours.
Exploring Lake Como is best accomplished with a rental car as it provides the most flexibility, especially when traveling from Milan or navigating the northern region's charming villages. For those preferring not to drive, ferries offer an scenic alternative, with all-day passes typically ranging from 15-30 Euros. Water taxis, and ground transportation are also an alternative. For an elevated experience, private boat tours are available in various towns around the lake. We recommend checking our Travel and Things To Do sections for more detailed information. When planning your transportation, keep in mind that ride-sharing and public transit can be limited, particularly during evening hours. For the most reliable travel experience—especially on our wedding day—we suggest booking taxi services in advance or coordinating carpooling with your travel companions.
