Kayla and Ashley met while playing violin in their middle school orchestra, and have been friends ever since - roughly 20 years! They got to see each other grow up, and have been there for each other through all the highs and lows life has thrown at them. Throughout all the parties, laughs, tears, and beer fests, an irreplaceable friendship was built. Even though hundreds of miles separate them in their daily lives, this friendship is everlasting. She is a pillar in Kayla’s life.
Nick
Best Man
Nick is John’s best friend. The bromance started by playing golf together, with many nights of virtual golf and playing various rounds around the state. They’re very competitive, and even though John is a wayyy better player, Nick manages to hold his own as a beginner. They’ve forged a close relationship over the years, and John loves Nick and his whole family. Nick has left a significant impression on him, and John looks forward to many years of friendship to come.
Kirsten
Bridesmaid
Kirsten was bartending one night when Kayla walked in on the hunt for a good beverage. Kayla enjoyed Kirsten’s hilariously genuine personality, and Kirsten liked the way Kayla tipped. It was at that bar that a true friendship was formed. Over the past 10+ years, they have shared many adventures, gossip nights, and pity parties. People have come and gone in their lives, but Kirsten and Kayla will always remain a constant. P.S. - Always tip your bartenders
Rian
Groomsman
Rian is John’s brother-in-law, and the brother he never had but always wanted. John considers Rian one of the most intelligent, reliable, and loyal people he has had the pleasure of having in his life. John is grateful that his sister found someone as wonderful as Rian, and he’s proud to call him family. John knows if his marriage to Kayla is even half as great as Rian’s and Gerri’s marriage, that it will be a successful one.
Gerri
Bridesmaid
Meeting the family for the first time can be a little nerve-wracking, but that wasn’t the case for Kayla. John’s sister, Gerri, welcomed Kayla with open arms. Kayla is an only child, so she’s so excited to have someone like Gerri to call her “sister”. Kayla knows that part of the reason John is the man he is, is because he had such a supportive, intelligent, and admirable big sister to look up to in his life. Gerri and Kayla both share a love for wine and the Virgin Islands, so you can bet these two are going to have the time of their lives on this trip.
Hayden
Groomsman
John has had the honor of watching his nephew, Hayden, grow up before his very eyes over the past 13 years, and now he has the honor of having Hayden stand by his side as he says “I do”. When Kayla asked John who he wanted to include as groomsmen, Hayden was the first name that came to John’s mind. They share such a sweet bond and John’s heart is so full of love for Hayden, and is immensely proud of the young man he has become.
