We're so excited to celebrate with you in Colonial Williamsburg! We've spent a lot of time here over the years and wanted to share some of our favorite places to eat, drink, and explore. If you're looking for ideas between wedding events, here are a few we can personally recommend.
A Note on the Colonial Area
Much of Colonial Williamsburg is open to the public, and you're free to walk around the Historic Area at your leisure. However, to enter certain buildings, exhibits, and special programs (like the Governor’s Palace, Capitol, and artisan workshops), you’ll need a ticket.
You can purchase tickets online at colonialwilliamsburg.org or at the Visitor Center. They offer one-day and multi-day options, and sometimes discounted evening programs or seasonal events. We recommend checking ahead if there’s something specific you want to see.
