Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Unless it rains, we are planning for the ceremony and cocktail hour to be outdoors on the East Lawn at the Williamsburg Inn. The reception will be indoors in the Regency Room on the other side of the hotel.

Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with the people who know us best. To keep things intimate, we’ve limited our guest list and are unable to accommodate additional plus-ones or children under 14. If you're wondering who's invited, please refer to your invitation—every guest's name is listed there. Thanks so much for understanding!

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?

Of course! If you post pictures of our wedding on social media, we ask that you use the hashtag #jerannie26 so that we can find them later.

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

We are not booking a shuttle for guests. If you are staying in the Colonial area, you will be able to walk to and from the reception back to your hotel. If you are staying outside the Colonial area, we ask that you have a designated driver for the evening or get an Uber.

The ceremony will start at 4pm. Please arrive and be settled no later than 3:50pm.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is garden attire—think semi-formal with a light, outdoor twist. Sundresses, floral prints, dressy jumpsuits, and suits in softer shades like gray or blue are all great options. Since we’ll be celebrating outdoors, we recommend comfortable shoes suitable for grass or gravel.
