Jacksonville International Airport

Jacksonville is a great option for those traveling from out of State between Friday, December 5th and Monday, December 8th. Keep in mind that Jacksonville is approximately a 45-minute drive from St. Augustine, for which renting a car is highly recommended. If you are arriving earlier than Friday and have flexible plans for departure, we recommend arriving at Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Transportation to and from the airport will not be provided. For those traveling to Jacksonville International, keep in mind that St. Augustine is a 45-minute drive away, for which renting a car may be the best and most cost effective option. Other options, such as Uber rides, can be costly and/or hard to secure given the distance and surge fees.

Flight

Orlando International Airport (MCO)

For those traveling from out of State with a flexible travel plan, MCO is a great option. Whether you’re looking to stay in Florida for a bit longer or look to join us early on to hang out at Disney on Friday, December 5th, we recommend you consider Orlando for your travel itinerary.

St. Augustine is known for its bed and breakfasts as well as boutique hotels, which are always a charming way to experience what the oldest town in America is all about. Some of our found recommendations include: Historic Sevilla House, Bayfront Inn, and Casa Monica Resort & Spa. There are many more to choose from in the area! There are also several Airbnb's in town. -- A great alternative if you are looking to book and share your stay with a larger group. If this is your choice, take a look at the Vilano Beach area. When looking for options, keep in mind that all wedding events will be held in the heart of downtown St. Augustine and that this time of the year the town is heavily visited by many. Booking in advance will ensure a wider selection of places.
