Maid of Honor
My dear little sister will be my maid of honor and one of the official witnesses of our wedding. We've known each other since she was born and besides my groom she is the most supportive person that I know. One time I started the sentence "Would you support me if" and she cut me off to simply say "yes." The unequivocal support of Margaret has been so valuable during my life, but especially during the last couple of years.
Best Man
This incredibly fine and incredibly available man has been near and dear during Luke's world travels. We spent many hours together working in a wine cellar in Tuscany as well as founding the first Italian chapter of the Fat Man's Running Club. The Fat Man Run™ is slower than walking but faster than laying down.
Bridesmaid
Luke's sister has agreed to be one of our bridesmaids and we are so excited to have family supporting us on our wedding day. She is so fun and I cannot wait to dance with her at the reception.
Groomsman
We went to St. Ambrose University together in Davenport, IA where we played in the university band and jazz band. We also shared a few beers and a lot of music. It was there that a lifelong friendship was born out of a mutual love of music and passion for making music well.
Bridesmaid
My youngest sister will join us on our wedding day to help us celebrate this extremely special day. We are so excited to have all of our sisters joining us and lending their creative talents to our wedding day.
Groomsman
Daniel and I met during discernment at St. Francis de Sales. Daniel likes good whiskey, good food, and great company. So I have no idea why he is friends with us. No one was as excited when we got engaged as Daniel. He has been so supportive and an amazing friend to both of us.
Bridesmaid
The girl who made me a sister is helping me marry my mister(too cheesy - I know). We've been sisters for over 23 years and there is no way I could get married without this girl by my side. She knows which Barbie movie is the best, how to make a killer google doc, and the perfect way to drape a veil. We've been together since day one of sisterhood and I'm so happy that she will be with me for all of the day ones to come.
Groomsman
Wayno and I met in college where we were roommates for two years. The memories of heating the house by having parties, paying for the weeks groceries with the cans from those parties, and free beer on Wednesday nights will forever be treasured. It was a sad day when we had to split up the recliner couch but the memories of it will live on and on.
Bridesmaid
After living together for two years I knew I needed this lady by my side. She has been amazingly supportive, a great friend, and the best roommate anyone could ask for. Especially during these months of lockdown and quarantine we have grown closer until I truly regard her as family. I'm so glad that the friendship we've cultivated over the last 18 years is part of my life and will be for years to come.
Groomsman
Chuck and I met in our year of candidacy at St. Francis de Sales and kept the band together for a year in Germany - or so I thought. Chuck left days before my birthday and now it is forever immortalized on the internet. After so many years of friendship, we had to have Chuck as part of our big day. Anne has an Uncle Chuck whose name is Carlos and she thinks it is so special that our children will also have an Uncle Chuck someday.
