The reception will be on Sunday, October 3rd. It will be an informal open house from 2 pm until 9 pm. We will mostly be outside due to COVID concerns. There will not be a formal sit down dinner, but we will have food available throughout the day. Come prepared to have fun and play games!
For the Mass on Saturday we ask our guests to wear modest, semi-formal attire. For the open house on Sunday feel free to wear whatever you like. Come in your fanciest tux and evening gown or breakout the jeans and tee shirt.
I'm glad you asked. St. Louis is one of the best places to eat in the world. Since we are in the Midwest you can find just about anything. Check out Mama's on the Hill for some amazing Italian. If you want some delicious Spanish tapas then swing by Guido's(they also have Italian). I love the Vine on Grand. You can get the best shawarma there that I've ever had in my life. Michael's has a great, casual atmosphere for those that just want to relax after a long day. You can't forget Vin de Set, Charlie Gitto's, or El Burro Loco when you're looking for a place to eat out. With so many options you might just need to eat two dinners.
I love Russell's on Macklind. Their patio is absolutely darling. Rooster, the Mud House, and Benton Park Cafe are all popular favorites that are near St. Francis de Sales. If you're into bottomless mimosas, which I sure am, the check out Molly's in Soulard, Vin de Set, or Bar Louie in Chesterfield. We also love Chris's Pancakes, the Southwest Diner, and Uncle Bill's when we want a good, old fashioned diner breakfast. Luke's personal favorite is Uncle Bill's.
I love Planter's House and Taste. They have some of the best cocktails and there is always something for everyone. I also love Novella wine bar. It is truly a hidden gem. For something fund try Narwhal's. They have the best alcoholic smoothies. This list wouldn't be complete without Nick's. Our dear friend works there and it has become our go to when we want to go somewhere familiar and fun. Whether karaoke is your thing or you just want to sit on the patio this is a true neighborhood bar with caring staff.
