Things To Do

These are just a few of the wonderful things to do in St. Louis. It was so hard to keep the list this short. I didn't mention the Art Museum, History Museum, Transportation Museum(where we got our engagement photos done), or the Cathedral Basilica. St. Louis is truly a fantastic city with wonderful sights to see!

Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tour

1200 Lynch St, St. Louis, MO 63118

We love the brewery and the tour is so fun! If you have time do the brewery tour and then head over to Grant's Farm and do that tour. You get two free beers at each one!

Grant's Farm

10501 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123

About a 20 minute drive in the car(or a half day ride by horse) is General Grant's Farm. Now owned by the Busch family it is a fun place to visit at any age, but kids will especially love the animals and the tram rides through the park! Plus who doesn't love a couple of free beers at the end in the biergarten?

Busch Stadium

700 Clark Ave, St. Louis, MO 63102

Swing by the Cardinals stadium just to walk around or to take in a game! It's a beautiful stadium and it is aptly referred to as Baseball Heaven. The greatest fans in baseball will be watching the Cards take on the Cubs the weekend of October 2nd. If you're late to the open house because you were taking in a baseball game we will applaud you!

Missouri Botanical Gardens

4344 Shaw Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110

Check out the location of our first date! It is so beautiful year round and one of my favorite places in St. Louis. Admission is very reasonable and before noon on Saturdays it is free to city and county residents. You will love the stunning flowers, chihuly glass, and the fun maze!

Saint Louis Zoo

1 Government Dr, St. Louis, MO 63110

A world class zoo with over 12,000 animals representing 500 species. It is stunning inside and outside of the exhibits. If you pay attention to the ground you'll notice imprints where some of the animals walked over the still soft concrete when being brought to their homes. Sea Lion Sound, Grizzly Ridge, and Polar Bear Point are just a few of the astounding exhibits to be found there. The Saint Louis Zoo was chosen as the best zoo in the United States by USA Today and 2017 and 2018 and the best news is that it is free to anyone and everyone!

Gateway Arch National Park

11 N 4th St, St. Louis, MO 63102

What list of St. Louis attractions would be complete without the Gateway Arch. A stunning architectural feat and the symbol of St. Louis this landmark is practically synonymous with St. Louis. The arch grounds were newly reconfigured and made even more beautiful a few years ago. Take a tram ride to the top and you can see so many St. Louis sights. The courthouse, baseball stadium, and St. Francis de Sales(the church we are getting married at) are just a few of the things that might catch your eye.

St. Francis de Sales Oratory

2653 Ohio Ave, St. Louis, MO 63118

Our beautiful church, the Cathedral of South St. Louis, is one of the many gems in the city that has come to be called the Rome of West. Call our oratory and schedule a tour. The history behind its building, the parish that it was home to, and the stained glass windows is fascinating. A perfect way to finish your Sunday Mass experience before heading over to the reception.
