Maid of Honor
We have been best friends since Kindergarten and have lived less than a mile from each other until leaving for college. Shelby has always been a built in best friend and has listened to me talk about my dream wedding since I was little. She is also a Stanford and Ohio State Buckeye fan and will always be the one to respond when someone else shouts "O-H". Shelby is like a sister to me and I could not imagine my wedding day without her as my maid of honor.
Best Man
Although he may be taller than me, Matthew is my younger brother. Matthew is pretty much the opposite of me. I am the social butterfly between the two of us (shocker!) but he is the one who pays attention to all of the current trends and happenings in the world. Whenever someone asks us what we want to eat, we always have different answers. I am a night owl and he likes to go to bed by 11. We may fight about all of the silly things, but we sure do love each other and I can't wait to have him by my side and see him getting down on the dance floor all night, especially to one of his song recommendations, Low by Flo Rida!
Bridesmaid
Although she may be taller than me, Mary is my younger sister. Mary is pretty much the opposite of me. She is the social butterfly between the two of us and the one who pays attention to all of the current trends. Whenever someone asks us what we want to eat, we always have different answers. She is a night-owl and I am not most nights! We may fight about all of the silly things, but we sure do love each other and I can't wait to have her by my side and see her getting down on the dance floor!
Groomsman
In Fast and Furious terms, Kyle is my "Ride or Die". We've known each other since we were 1 and at pre-school together. He and his family moved while we were in elementary school. We actually have pretty different interests now, but we never drifted apart and there's nothing we wouldn't do for each other. Kyle's the best golfer I know. He knows and loves animals like I know and love sports. Check him out on Facebook (Kyle Burton Photography, @kylebphotos) or Instagram (@kburtonphotography) for some insanely cool animal pics. He's basically family.
Bridesmaid
Emily is Trevor's cousin. She loves traveling and Harry Potter. Emily is so sweet and has always made me feel part of the family. I'm so lucky to have gained her as a friend and family. I can't wait for her to stand by my side and celebrate with us.
Groomsman
Jacob brings out the gamer in me. If we're hanging out, it's a good bet that there's a deck of cards or a board game (Ticket to Ride!) in front of us. A ton of my best memories from high school band involve Jacob. When he was the drum major our senior year, during football games, I was right alongside him teaching him the game while hammering the cowbell (a little too loud) to pep tunes like My Girl. If not that, we were spending countless hours perfecting our craft as part of the Winter Percussion. And speaking of football, Jacob is now a die-hard fantasy football player and I consider it one of my greatest accomplishments. I was the best man at his wedding, and more importantly, he makes a mean chicken taco.
Bridesmaid
We've known each other for just over 2 years! We met at Boise State through InterVarsity and have made many memories attending Boise State Athletic events and hanging out around Boise. Kacie is the friendliest and most creative person I know! She is always up for an adventure, loves the outdoors and anything dogs. Check out her Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/sunnypawco/ if you have a pet and want some accessories. I can't wait to have Kacie by my side on our special day!
Groomsman
Andrew is a Dodgers fan. I hate him. But he's also my forever tennis partner. If you checked our text messages, 75% of the messages would be about fantasy football. Our debates get heated because we both know what we're talking about. He's basically hurt every bone in his body, but if you challenge him to a match of tennis/ultimate frisbee/football/rock-paper-scissors/beer pong, he's willing to break another one to beat you. If there's a meme appropriate to any situation, Andrew will find it. He went to a shitty OSU (home of the Beavs). Did I mention he's a Dodgers fan? I still hate him.
Bridesmaid
We were roommates second semester of my freshman year at Azusa Pacific. The first time I met her was at the end of the first week of school on the train back from Pasadena. While sitting next to each other, I pretty much told her my whole life story without even asking what her name was and well didn't scare her away then and we've been talking non-stop since. When together, she is always down to go to a Giants game, grab froyo, or take a Target shopping trip with me. I'm so happy that I have a friend like Isabelle and can't wait to have her as a bridesmaid.
Groomsman
Brent is my Bay Area sports guy. Warriors, 49ers, Sharks, he's my go-to-guy. Brent has a great taste of music. Of all of my groomsmen, he's the one most likely to be on the dance floor with me, jamming to great music from the late 2000's and early 2010's like Jason Derulo. He's also my go-to Togos guy. His preferred sandwich from Togos is a Large Triple Dip, dry, no produce, on Parmesan bread. He is getting married in April and I am a groomsman in his wedding.
