We met in high school marching band when I (Anna) injured my foot and had to join the front ensemble. Trevor taught me all I needed to know to get through that season. We exchanged phone numbers and I continued to make Trevor smile with all of my random and creative texts. I may have had a huge crush on him the entire time too and never said anything. As Trevor went off to college in Ohio, we stayed in touch and grew closer. Trevor came home one weekend for the 2015 NHL Stadium Series at Levi's Stadium to watch the San Jose Sharks, but also had plans to surprise me. On February 20, 2015, we went to get frozen yogurt and that is when Trevor asked me to be his girlfriend! The very next day is what we consider our official first date which included a Togos picnic at a park.
Trevor planned a perfect picnic at one of our favorite parks, Vasona Lake County Park, to celebrate our six year anniversary. We picked up Togos sandwiches and found a perfect spot on the grass overlooking the lake. Little did I know, Trevor had planned all of this out and even scoped out the area the week before with his parents. On the day of, Trevor was so nervous he couldn't even finish his lunch. After we were done eating, I stood up to get ready to go on a walk and Trevor got down on one knee to ask me to marry him. I was so surprised! I said "are you serious?" before Trevor could even get a word out, but of course my answer was "YES!". We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
