We have secured a block of 25-40 rooms with a mixture of rooms for Friday August 6th and Saturday night August 7th with a king bed or 2 queen beds. The hotel has a pool, indoor & outdoor with a hot tub & jacuzzi, and a full bar and restaurant open til midnight. In order to secure a discounted room, you must reserve it using the link before 7/20/2021, or calling the hotel directly at 734-769-9800 and if you use a 3rd party site (like Expedia, hotels.com, etc) the room will not be counted toward the block. There will be a shuttle service available between the hotel and my brother's house on Saturday August 7th. Otherwise, folks can take Ubers or Lyfts to bars and restaurants downtown.

Okay! So apparently rental cars are insanely expensive or impossible to find this summer due to everyone frantically going out of town after quarantine. I recommend Turo.com. It’s a car sharing site that’s basically the Airbnb of cars. You rent from individual people instead of a company. It’s actually really great!
