Things To Do

Here's a list of some of our favorite Steamboat things!

Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs

44200 County Road 36, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487

A must-do for most visitors, and only around 15 minutes from downtown! We recommend making a reservation ahead of time as they do book up. Reservations open 30 days in advance. NOTE: The road there is winding and up in the mountains so if you're uncomfortable with mountain roads, we recommend booking a shuttle for around $50 per person (includes access to pools).

Old Town Hot Springs

136 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487

If Strawberry Park feels too far or too natural, Old Town Hot Springs is the move! It's right in the town and still gives you that peaceful feeling without having to go too far. Plus, they have a gym if you want to sneak a workout in before!

Hiking at Fish Creek Falls or Spring Creek Trail

CO 80487

- Fish Creek Falls is a short drive from downtown and offers multiple hiking trails for every comfort level. Here, there's everything from the 1/4 mile Upper Falls paved trail to Uranium Mine trail which is closer to 5 miles and a bit steeper but offers incredible views. - Spring Creek Trail is a hiking trail accessible from town that is mostly flat (depending on how far you go) and is out-and-back, so you can choose your distance and turn around. The father you go, the prettier the leaves are this time of year!

Saturday Farmer's Market & Shop Main Street Steamboat

The Steamboat Springs Farmer's Market is HUGE! The last Famer's Market of 2026 is Sept. 26 from 9AM to 2PM. Stop by in the morning or early afternoon before you get ready for the wedding festivities!

Steamboat Ski Resort - Sunset Happy Hour (Thursdays & Sundays)

Steamboat Springs, CO 80487

If you're in town on Thursday or Sunday, we recommend getting a gondola ticket (or using your Ikon ski pass if you have one!) and grabbing a cocktail, taking in the scenic views, and listening to live music up at Thunderhead Lodge (starts at 5PM!). It's absolutely gorgeous up there this time of year! But be sure to get the gondola as soon as it opens as they do reach capacity.
