The Wedding Website of Annabelle Hanke and Harrison Schamber
This trip is yours to enjoy however you’d like—relaxing, activities, socializing, or a mix. There’s plenty to do, but no pressure to do everything. Below are some resort activities, plus a few off-site favorites we’ve enjoyed nearby. We recommend booking excursions through the resort, as they typically include transportation.

Grand Palladium Colonial Resort

Xel-Há

Carretera Chetumal Puerto Juárez Km 240, locales 1 & 2, módulo B, Q.R. 77780, Mexico

Xel-Há is a natural water park built around a beautiful inlet where freshwater meets the ocean. You can snorkel, float along lazy rivers, jump from cliffs, or just relax in crystal-clear water surrounded by jungle scenery. A little personal note—this is actually where the bride and groom went during their first stay at the Grand Palladium about 3 years ago, so it’s a special spot for them. It’s a great all-day excursion if you want something scenic, fun, and easygoing.

Xcaret Park

km 282 Puerto Juarez, Playa del Carmen, Q.R. 77580, Mexico

Xcaret is a large eco-park that mixes nature, culture, and activities all in one place. You can swim through underground rivers, relax on the beach, see wildlife, and explore walking paths through jungle and caves. There are also cultural shows, including a well-known evening performance that highlights Mexican history and traditions. It’s a full-day experience with a little bit of everything—adventure, relaxation, and sightseeing all in one.

Coco Bongo

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. 77710, Mexico

Coco Bongo is one of the most famous nightlife shows in the area. It’s part club, part live performance, and part concert-style show all in one. Expect nonstop music, acrobatics, dancing, and themed performances that feel like a high-energy Vegas-style experience. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a fun night out off the resort.
