Calhoun's Restaurant

Located near the Gatlinburg entrance of the Smoky Mountains. This was a favorite spot to eat after a long day of hiking near the Gatlinburg part of the park.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park

The park can be accessed through Gatlinburg and Townsend. Some of our favorite Hikes include: -Kuwoh (formally known as Clingmans Dome): Paved 1 mile and very steep. Hike goes to a tower with a beautiful view of Tennessee and North Carolina. -Laurel Falls: 3-mile roundtrip hike is usually popular for its 80-foot waterfall and footbridge. -Grotto Falls: 2.6-mile (4.2 km) roundtrip hike that leads to a unique waterfall. The trail, known as the Trillium Gap Trail, takes hikers to Grotto Falls, the only waterfall in the park where you can walk behind it. -Chimney Tops: 3.5-mile, out-and-back hike known for its challenging elevation gain and rewarding views from the top. It gains over 1,400 feet in elevation, with a section featuring over 360 stone steps. The trail is considered moderate to strenuous.
