Travel Note
Our wedding will take place at the Lionhead Group Campground in Priest Lake State Park, tucked away at the quiet north end of the lake. Surrounded by tall pines and just steps from the water, it’s one of our favorite places to recreate in and the perfect spot to gather with the people we love. The Lionhead area is peaceful, beautiful, and a little wild in the best way. Expect fresh mountain air, towering trees, and breathtaking views of the Selkirk Mountains. We’re so excited to celebrate together in the jewel of the Gem State.
Flight
Flying in? The closest airport is Spokane International Airport (GEG). From there, you can easily pick up a rental car at the airport and head north towards Priest Lake. Our venue, Priest Lake State Park- Lionhead Group Campground, is about a 2.5 hour drive from Spokane, and it’s a beautiful one! The route winds through forests and small PNW towns before opening up to the lake. We recommend downloading directions ahead of time since cell service can get spotty near Priest Lake. Sit back, enjoy the scenery, and we’ll see you at the lake!
Hotel
We have a room block at the Inn at Priest Lake reserved with 23 rooms set aside for our wedding guests. This room block starts Friday, September 11th and check out is by Monday, September 14th. This lodging accommodation requires a 38 minute drive to/from the venue (Yes, this is closest hotel we could grab hehe). Discounted prices, with tax, range from $116.64 to $127.33 per hotel room. These rooms will be released back to the public on July 10th, so please book your room before then if you plan on staying. You are not able to book online; you must call us at (208) 443-2447 and let them know you looking to book for the Anna Medlin/Trenton Johnson Wedding.
Hotel
Looking for a rustic experience? Or maybe you don't want to drive after the reception? We have 12 camping/RV sites available at the venue for our guests to stay in. There are bathrooms and showers on site at the facility. This site would be at no cost to you! You would just need to supply your own RV/Camping equipment. If you are interested in this option, please message Anna directly so she can update the group camp site availability.
