Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Anna Riegelsberger and Marc Walters
These are the cool cats and kittens that make up our bridal party!

Lisa Mieskoski

Maid of Honor

Lisa and I met in high school, and she is my "beef" (our special nickname for BFFs). Lisa is part of my friend group, called the "Jammies". Lisa is always ready for adventure, which is why she makes the best travel companion. My favorite trip with Lees was when we toured Poland, Prague, and Munich (aka Oktoberfest). Lisa volunteered to be part of a fire show on the streets of Prague... leave it to Lisa help an amateur fire breather... she did get a cool flower balloon out of the deal. Fun fact: While staying at a Disney resort, Lisa and I once won a friendship trivia contest (in case you don't believe me her favorite drink is a vodka soda. Just ask her.) Lisa lives in Chicago where she is an associate director of media strategy and has developed a passion for Lyra.

Benj Walters

Best Man

I’ve heard it said that you can’t choose your family. But if I could, I would choose Benj. My brother was my first friend, and for many years of homeschooling my only classmate. Unlike most boys, Benj and I have never had a physical fight. To know the Walters boys is to know the power of words—they were (and are) our swords and shields in all brotherly battles. Growing up, we shared a mutual love of superheroes, drawing, anime, video games, Star Wars, and dozens of other nerd things, which we still do today. My brother is a talented artist, an observant and empathetic person, and a thoughtful, caring friend. Through thick and thin, my brother is always there for me and I am always there for him. Whenever I imagined my own wedding day, I saw my brother as my best man.

Abigail Jones

Bridesmaid

Abby is also part of the Jammies (she's the reason I met the other girls). I met Abby in high school Biology class, and thank God she was my partner when we had to dissect that worm. She was a real hero that day. I have many fond memories of going to Abby's house for movie nights in high school. To this day, any time I hear the song "Build Me Up Buttercup" by the Foundations I always think of Abby. I truly am blessed to have Abby as a friend: it's because of her I actually met a lot of my friends and most importantly, Marc. She's also the best person to call if you need cheering up: she'll be at your place in under an hour with a bottle of wine and big hug. Nowadays, Abby can be found taking pictures of sunsets or sharing her love of Harry Potter with her students here in Cleveland.

Matthew Vogler

Groomsman

In college, I campaigned to be elected president of the mock trial team, but I lost by one swing vote: Matt Vogler. But lifelong friendships can come from unexpected places. Matt is a human dynamo: his quick wit, sharp tongue, self-confidence, and overall boisterous demeanor make him one of the most fun human beings I know. We went to law school together, we were roommates, we have traveled together, we have defied death, serious injury, and incarceration, and the list of adventures goes on and on. Without Matt, I would not be called “Bear” (homage to Bear Grylls), I probably would not be a lawyer, I would not have taken nearly as many risks (good and bad), and my life would be so boring. In nearly every aspect of life, Matt is my go-to friend. I cannot imagine my wedding without him.

Jennifer Farver

Bridesmaid

My sweet Jennifer Lynn is the final member of our Jammie clan. One of my earliest memories of Jen (besides her always doing homework) was when we watched a movie at her house, and she was all snuggled up in a Beauty and the Beast blanket... right then and there, I knew we were bound to be friends. Jen is kind, loves anything that feels cozy, and she has an affinity for Curious George fruit snacks and anything involving Kate Middleton. She's just quintessentially Jen! Jen lives here in the Cleveland area and is happily married to her husband, Michael. They have two children, Evelyn and Milo, and a dog, Ellie. Not only is Jen an excellent mom and wife, she is also a marketing manager where she recently got recognized in Path to Purchase Institute's People to Watch 2020.

Dave Rehmar

Groomsman

“At the end of the day, it’s nighttime.” With peerless advice like this, when Dave showed up at PwC in September 2010, it was obvious that we were going to be good friends. Some say that my impassioned barstool speech to our co-worker Jamie (“Dave’s got a good job!” when they had the same job) greased the wheels to a relationship, marriage, and a beautiful family. At Dave’s wedding, I was the groomsman who never refused a drink and fell asleep at least once. If you see Dave without a drink in his hand at my wedding, hook him up, because he needs to keep the tradition alive. Over the years our hanging out has morphed from impromptu downtown limo rides to talking in the living room while Baby Shark drones on in the background. I’m pumped he’s going to be there with me on my wedding day.

Lisa Taylor

Bridesmaid

Lisa is my younger, hipper sister. When we weren't fighting over toys or clothes, we were each other's closest friends growing up. We loved playing house and dress up in the basement. Poor mom and dad had to put up with watching the two of us put on "shows" almost every day (which mainly consisted of us running in circles to music OR re-creating the Little Bunny Foo-foo story). Through the years, I've always been able to count on my sister as my friend. She also has the best decor tips (Joanna Gaines has nothing on her). Lisa and her wonderful husband, Scott, are avid boaters and dog parents to their black lab mix, Ruger.

Ryan Schumacher

Groomsman

In college, the law firm of Schumacher and Walters took the mock trial circuit by storm. Ryan was one of my first college friends; we were brought together by our mutual, undeniable, terminal, earnest nerdiness and love of baseball. Against all odds, Ryan convinced me to join a fraternity where we became roommates and our friendship grew as we discussed topics like morality and religion. Ryan is unfathomably intelligent and he always gives 100%. Including in wiffleball, where Ryan’s fastball dominate my junk pitches and the Wheaton Humiliators hold a commanding lead in the lifetime series against the Strongsville Pussycats (teams reflect hometown and skill). Years ago, I was honored to be Ryan’s best man, and I am equally honored to have him standing with me on my own wedding day.

Brittni Autrey

Flautist

Brittni deserves special mention as she is going to play flute for our wedding ceremony, and she is one of my (Anna) good friends from Florida. Some of my favorite memories from my time in Florida was having Brittni as my roommate: like eating brownie sundaes while binge watching TV shows OR numerous food and wine festival outings. Brittni is also my Halloween Horror Nights ride or die! Also, it's thanks to Brittni that I can now enjoy wine. Brittni resides in the Orlando, FL area with her husband Josh where they both teach music. They have two cute little dogs, Bonnie and Clyde.

Grandma Barb Tighe

Flower Gal

Grandma Barb is Anna's wonderful grandmother. I (Anna) could not be more excited to have Grandma be a part of my special day. She is the most precious, and she's going to be the most precious flower gal a bride could have.

Pastor Ken Crane

Officiant

Pastor Ken is our pastor at Strongsville Bible Fellowship. We are very blessed to have him officiate our wedding.
