This is the most beautiful beach on the island but you need a 4 wheel drive to access it or it will be a long walk.

Kua Bay

A smaller but closer beach than Hapuna. Amenities.

Great for the young kiddos! No amenities.

This is a longer but beautiful walk to a small green sand beach! They also have ATV rides for purchase if you don’t want to walk.

Coconut Grove Marketplace

This is a beautiful and touristy spot right on the water! Lots of restaurants and little shops from here all the way down to the pier.

Waimea

This is our favorite little rancher town on the island. Elijah proposed here! Lots of yummy restaurants.

Waikoloa Village

We love walking around Waikoloa when we’re missing the mainland. Lots of shopping and restaurants!

Hilo

This is more rainforesty than Kona. If you’re looking for some hikes to waterfalls Hilo is where you will find them!

Mauna Kea

You need a 4 wheel drive to get to the top of Mauna Kea. Bring some warm clothes and enjoy the snow! Then head straight to the beach, who are we kidding.
