San Luis Obispo does have an airport (SBP), however flights are limited (only direct flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, and Phoenix). Santa Maria and Santa Barbara provide other nearby options. Want a coastal California road trip? Consider SFO or LAX - Drive time is approximately 4 hours from either airport, traffic pending.
