Each of the cities in the area has something unique to offer, and all are within a half hour of the venue. In San Luis Obispo proper, the largest city on the central coast, you'll be close to downtown shopping, restaurants and nightlife, and the largest selection of accommodations. Nearby Avila Beach is a very small and quiet beach town, with hotels just steps from the water. Pismo beach is a well known destination, with a larger downtown, huge public beach, and classic California beach town vibe. Morro Bay offers a laid back, fishing town feel, with small marina, water front eateries, and amazing views of Morro Rock. Residing in San Luis Obispo ourselves we are a bit biased to all it has to offer, but you cannot go wrong anywhere you choose to stay.
Yes! Be sure to include them in your RSVP numbers for us.
Yes- there is a "Regisrty" tab at the top of the website. We don't have a big gift giving culture in our relationship so no gifts necessary!! If that is part of your culture and tradition, we have a few items listed but feel free to get creative, too.
Our wedding is being held at an olive oil ranch. The venue is all outdoors and the weather can vary. Currently forecast looks around 76 and sunny but it can cool off in the evening so a jacket might be nice. Ladies-in-waiting as mentioned above it's all outdoors with some uneven ground, grass and pavers - keep this in mind in choosing footwear!
Venue is located approximately 20 minute drive from both downtown SLO and Avila. At this time we don't have any transportation arrangements. We encourage CARPOOLING and Uber/Lyft to and from the venue. It is no probl for guests to leave cars in the parking lot of the venue overnight! Be Safe!!
