The proposal spot! This is a gorgeous hike up the ridge overlooking Avila Bay. Its steep in the beginning but worth the view. Park at El Portal Drive near the trail head.

Avila Ridge Trail

These guys are fascinating creatures and great entertainment! It is about an hour drive up the coast toward Big Sur.

Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Rookery

This is one of our favorite spots to relax and rock hunt at Spooner's Cove, hike Valencia Peak, walk the bluffs or mountain bike!

Montaña de Oro State Park

Central Coast has great wine! There are two main areas for wine tasting - Paso Robles and Edna Valley (you'll drive through the edge of Edna Valley on the way to our venue). Ask us for recommendations or just explore!

Wine Tasting

Hang on the beach, check out sea otters, views of Morro Rock, rent kayaks or an electric boat. Sailing and fishing tours also available out of Morro Bay.

Morro Bay

Another great local hike with views of SLO. Trail head access points on Foothill Blvd or Patricia St.

Bishop Peak

Beautiful and interesting local landmark. Tours available for different sections of the estate and different lengths of time. This activity could be paired with a visit to the Elephant Seals!
