I’ve know Anjani since birth. Our mom would tell us stories about how bad Anjani wanted a little sister and so I was born! She had always wanted to give me the best life experiences from taking me to my first concert to celebrating my 21st in New Orleans. We have a strong love for animals and have bonded over our beloved pets. We both also share a love for Disney and thank our dad for taking us to Disneyland every few years as kids. I am so happy that my sister has found the love of her life. She deserves nothing but happiness and I know Chris and their kitty Kyber will do just that.

Growing up as Chris’s little brother came with its share of conflict. But as Chris and I grew up together, we learned that our differences paled in comparison to our similarities. It’s comforting to know that, no matter how long it’s been since we last saw one another, we can always pick up right where we left off. Watching Chris grow into the man he is today has been incredible, and I couldn’t be happier that he’s found a partner as wonderful as he is. It’s my honor to stand beside him on his big day!

Anjani and I are more than just cousins—we’re sisters by blood and friends by choice. Growing up, some of my fondest memories are visiting her house, where we would have the best dance parties. She always had the latest music CDs, and we’d spend hours dancing and laughing together. Through every stage of life, Anjani has always been there for me, offering unwavering support and love. I am deeply honored to stand by her side as her matron of honor. It is my way of celebrating the incredible person she is and showing my gratitude for all the love and support she has given me over the years. Being there for her on such a special day is truly a privilege. As for me, I’m someone who loves to travel, soak up the sun at the beach, enjoy great music, and, most importantly, cherish my role as a mom.

We bonded over classics like The Other Guys, Semi-Pro, and Undercover Brother—pretty much half our conversations are just references. As a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, I’m used to high-stakes moments, but standing by Chris on his big day is definitely a top-tier honor.

Anjani is a magical person. For as long as I’ve known her, she’s been able to create community wherever she goes. She does this thing where she decides you’re her friend and then informs you about it. In 7th grade, on the walk home from school, I made some joke about keeping secrets, and Anjani yelled: “You’re not even gonna tell your best friend!” And I thought, “Ok, cool. I have a BFF” (which is what they called it back then.) I didn’t know we were best friends before that, but I felt lucky because she was, literally, the nicest person I knew. Twenty-five(ish) years later, she’s still my bestie. She was my best friend in high school, when we’d take Bart, cab, and a Caltrain to go head bang at concerts. She was my bestie in College, when we’d go rock up to poetry slams and art shows every month. She’s my best friend now. Chris is the only person that I’ve met who matches her goofy, smiley energy, and I cannot wait to dance at their wedding.

With so many things in common, it made sense for us to stick together and join a mouse cult together! Anjani has always been the best person I know, and I am beyond honored to be part of her and Christopher's special day, whether they like it or not! Come to me if you need random information about Disney, Star Trek, Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, or anything else super nerdy ....... but not Star Wars!! Don't ask me about Star Wars!!

We are bonded by our love for quoting Chappelle and other movies. Our bond extends to annoying Anjani in different ways. And I hope it is a tradition that continues for many years. Anjani and I have been friends for over 17yrs and calling her a friend is an understatement. We met through my best friend and have been in each other's lives ever since. After a certain time, the title of a friend is no longer applicable, and now she is a part of my chosen family. Over the years, we have experienced major life events, which have been both good and bad, and Anjani is the person who is always there for you and makes a consistent effort. When Anjani introduced us to Chris, we instantly connected, and I realized that he was just as funny as me. Although it may seem impossible, I realize that I liked Chris just as much as Anjani (if not more), and now, at every hang, I ask, “Is Chris coming?” There is no Anjani without Chris, and there is no Chris without Anjani. I am truly honored and proud to be a part of this union, and I couldn’t be happier for these two and may the force be with them.

Whether he’s zipping down the aisle or pausing to take in the moment, Jaylen is sure to bring plenty of smiles and laughter to our big day.
