Mr. Richard Zimring
Father of the groom and Best Man
Mr. Zimring was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He worked for the Department of Corrections for 20 years and is now retired. He currently delivers oil around the 5 boroughs of New York. He met Mrs. Zimring in Brooklyn in 1981, and they moved to Staten Island shortly after getting married a few years later. He enjoys working out, spending time with his family and the family dog, Marlowe.
Mrs. Barbara Zimring
Mother of the Groom
Mrs. Zimring was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She worked in Manhattan for a few years before meeting Mr. Zimring in 1981. They moved to Staten Island a few years later after getting married. She raised the 3 Zimring sons and loves spending time with her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, cooking and spending time with her family and family dog, Marlowe.
Charles
Brother of the Groom
Charles Zimring is the middle ZImring brother. He currently resides in Staten Island and works as an emergency medical tech for the Fire Department of New York. In his spare time, Charles likes to play video games and play guitar.
Christopher
Brother of the Groom
Christopher Zimring is the youngest Zimring brother and currently works for the New York City Department of Corrections. He lives in Staten Island with his wife, Jenna, and two daughters, Francesca,3, and Julie, 1. In his spare time he loves to go shopping and spend time with his family.
Jenna
Sister in Law of the Groom
Jenna was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She currently works as a medical administrator in a medical office and lives in Staten Island with Christopher Zimring and their two daughters Francesca and Julie. In her free time she enjoys being with her family and crafting.
Marlow
Family dog
Marlowe was adopted in 2012 by the ZImring family and felt right at home from day one. She ate her way through many shoes and socks and has developed a fine, but picky palate. She gets hot meals but decides when she wants to eat them. Marlowe enjoys exercising with Mr. Zimring, sunbathing with him in the summer and being the true protector of the family. She's a loyal, sweet girl!
Lindsay Handelsman
Maid of Honor
Lindsay was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. She went to highschool with me(Anjali) which is where we met. We went to college together at the University of Georgia(GO DAWGS!!) and lived in Atlanta for a few years before Lindsay moved to Washington, D.C. She currently lives in D.C. with her husband, Seth(yay, newlyweds from October!) and works for the Washington D.C. Department of Public Health. In her spare time she loves cooking, gardening and traveling.
Mr. Sopan Chaudhari
Father of the Bride
Sopan Chaudhari grew up in Nanded, India. He came to the US in 1969 to attend Georgia Tech University(Boo, Go Dawgs!). He married Mrs. Chaudhari in 1973 in India and brought his beautiful bride to Atlanta to start their life. They moved to a few different places in the southeast while she was in her medical training, but eventually settled in Atlanta. Mr. Chaudhari currently works as a structural engineer and lives with Mrs. Chaudhari in Stone Mountain, Ga. He enjoys spending time with their three grandchildren, watching Georgia Tech and Atlanta Falcons football and playing bridge.
Mrs. Rajani Chaudhari
Mother of the Bride
Rajani Chaudhari was born in Jalgaon, India. She completed medical school in India and came to the US soon after marrying Mr. Chaudhari. She completed her pediatric residency in Tennessee and Georgia, then opened a practice in midtown Atlanta, where she continues to work. Anjali recently joined her practice and is learning the ropes so she can eventually take over the reigns. Mrs. Chaudhari lives in Stone Mountain, Ga with Mr. Chaudhari and enjoys spending time with their three grandchildren, cooking and playing bridge.
Neilam Chaudhari
Brother of the Bride
Neilam was born in Atlanta, Ga. He is currently a financial analyst for Delta and lives with his wife, Kavina, and their three kids, Kesari, 7, Rasik, 6 and Seva, 2, in Smyrna, Ga. He enjoys participating in obstacle course races, watching Georgia Tech and Atlanta Falcons football and hanging out with this family.
Kavina Chaudhari
Sister in Law of the Bride
Kavina was born in Fayetteville, NC and grew up in Charlotte, NC. She is currently a Special Education teacher at an elementary school and lives in Smyrna, Ga with Neilam and their three kids, Kesari, 7, Rasik, 6, and Seva, 2. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, and working out.
Charles
Richie and Anjali's dog
Charles is our little peanut. We rescued him from a shelter in Oklahoma in 2015 during my medical training. In his spare time he enjoys burrowing under the covers, sleeping and begging for food. He also very fervently protects Richie and I and barks when he sees anyone outside. We love our little man!
