Maid of Honor
Serena holds a special place as Anisha's younger sister. When Anisha's parents were expecting for the second time, Anisha continuously voiced her wish for a sister named Serena, inspired by her fondness for the name of a character from a soap opera her mother used to watch (Serena Baldwin from "General Hospital"). As fate would have it, Anisha's wish came true when her little sister was born. Anisha is so fortunate to have Serena as her sister; she displays a unique blend of charm, wit and wisdom. Together, Anisha and Serena share countless memorable experiences, from attending concerts and Broadway shows to meeting Anisha's celebrity crush, Nick Jonas, with their parents and Kathryn (bridesmaid) after his Broadway performance in How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. In addition to their love for live performances, Serena and Anisha are passionate about traversing various countries, indulging in fresh culinary encounters and fully immersing themselves in the culture at each destination. Fun Fact: Serena exhibits an incredibly adventurous spirit, evident in her daring exploits such as flying roundtrip to and from India all by herself, scuba diving in the Galapagos, skydiving in Philly, crowdsurfing at Warped Tour and getting a tattoo on her rib cage.

Kathryn is Anisha's "ride or die." They initially crossed paths in February 2010 at a cheer competition in New Jersey, where their younger sisters were teammates. Anisha, full of energy, contrasted Kathryn's initial shyness. Their bond solidified in March of the same year when both families allowed the 14-year-olds to navigate both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios alone during a trip to Disney World for a cheer competition—an adventure they both found thrilling. Over the past 15 years, their friendship has flourished, marked by numerous shared experiences, exploring New York City alone together at 15, working at Wet Seal as teenagers at the mall, staying up till the break of dawn at sleepovers, visiting each other at Penn State and Marist College and venturing to different theme parks and cities along the East Coast and attending numerous concerts together, with a notable highlight of seeing the Jonas Brothers in concert four times and meeting Nick Jonas himself after his seeing him on Broadway in "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" in 2012! Fun Fact: Kathryn and Chad went to the same high school, just one grade apart, but had no clue the other existed back then.

Rachel is Anisha’s “soulmate wifey.” They met on the first day of college sitting next to each other at Penn State’s convocation, where Anisha photobombed Rachel’s panorama with her infectious grin. Afterwards, they hit the HUB for some first-day activities, including immortalizing their faces on a t-shirt. Anisha thought she just met her college bestie, while Rachel figured she’d never see Anisha again as they parted ways without exchanging numbers. To Rachel’s surprise, the very next day she saw the next day she spotted Anisha just four doors down in their dorm. From that moment, fate sealed their friendship. They became roommates for the next year and a half, with Anisha heading to London and Rachel to Florence to study abroad during their spring semester junior year. They visited each other in the UK and Italy, backpacked through Europe, sleeping on buses or in hostels, and storing their luggage with strangers like broke college kids do. Rachel and Anisha have also explored Rachel’s hometown of Hershey (PA), Anisha’s NJ stomping grounds, and all over Florida from the panhandle to the Keys! Besides their epic adventures, they love belting out karaoke renditions of “Believe” by Cher and “Cotton Eyed Joe.” Fun Fact: Anisha and Rachel got a surprise upgrade front row seats at Beyoncé's 2016 Formation World Tour thanks to some extra Queen Bey equipment that wiped out their original rows (a good 100 feet away), they ended up so close they could practically feel the Bey-nergy!
Bridesmaid
Anisha and Aditi share a special connection as "womb buddies," stemming from their mothers' simultaneous pregnancies. Their families became intertwined even before Anisha and Aditi were born, as their fathers worked together. Over the years, the two have grown up attending each other's family gatherings, celebrating birthdays, and even high school graduations together. Anisha showed her support by attending Aditi's arangetram (classical Indian dance graduation ceremony), enduring three straight hours of Aditi's sole dance performances. Although Aditi may not share Anisha's enthusiasm for the Jonas Brothers, she found amusement in witnessing Anisha's screaming her head off the entire night during a concert they attended together in 2008. Anisha and Aditi still enjoy listening to various music genres together. Despite living on opposite ends of Florida (and in two different time zones), they make efforts to visit each other, whether in South Florida where Aditi and her husband reside or in New Jersey where their families all still reside in. Excited about future adventures, they look forward to exploring new destinations and trying new cusines together. Fun Fact: As a child, Aditi and her family moved to Singapore for three years because of her father’s job.

As they were plummeting down, Connor, with a straight face, turns to Anisha and Rachel and asked, "you guys scared yet?"
The Seltzerette
Roma is technically Anisha’s aunt—shoutout to the wonderfully complex rules of the Indian family tree—but with just 11 years between them, their energy is way more “cool cousins” than “different generations.” A proud California native, Roma has been part of Anisha’s life for over two decades of unforgettable adventures. From weddings and work trips to “low-key” visits that conveniently included BBQ in Texas, tacos & margaritas in Cali, and bagels & pizza in Jersey — because why limit the good times (and great food) to just one time zone? Their bond runs deep, fueled by a shared love of Harry Potter, pop culture, and an uncanny ability to turn any gathering into a highlight reel of joy and laughter. Fun Fact: In October 2022, Roma gave Anisha a very important mission—bring a dozen bagels from Jersey (shoutout to Tommy's Bagels in Manalapan) on her flight to California. Because, let’s be real, when you're from Jersey, you know there’s no substitute for a real bagel!

Usher
Shailen, Anisha's 8-year-old cousin and Rohan's (usher) younger brother, was just a toddler when Anisha stayed with his family in the summer of 2018, so he does not remember much.
