PRIMARY ARRIVAL OPTION: Follow the event signs around Bell Works, which will guide you to the East Entrance on the left side of the building. This is where Chad and our guests will gather for the Baraat procession. ALTERNATIVE ARRIVAL OPTION: Guests who choose not to join the Baraat procession may enter the venue through any of the following: the East Entrance on the left, the main front entrance labeled 'Bell Works,' or the West Entrance on the right side of the building. Proceed through the front doors and continue straight until you reach a set of stairs leading downward. Walk down those steps and step into the celebration! There will be digital signage throughout the Bell Works main floor to direct you to the wedding festivities. If you need elevator access, please mention to the concierge desk that you are here for the Weimer-Kaplowitz Wedding and they will happily escort you to the elevators.
A Baraat is a festive procession in Indian weddings where the groom, accompanied by family and friends in a festive and stylish mode of transportation, travels to the wedding venue, often with music and dancing. The groom's party is welcomed by the bride's family and guests, symbolizing the merging of two families. We welcome all our guests to join the Baraat, dancing alongside Chad as he proceeds into the venue to unite with Anisha in marriage. The Baraat will commence at 3 PM in the left side parking area.
A Hindjew (Hindu-Jewish) ceremony combines elements from both Hindu and Jewish traditions to celebrate the union of two individuals from different cultural backgrounds. Anisha and Chad are excited to honor and incorporate aspects of both their culture and identities into their wedding celebration, creating a unique and meaningful experience that symbolizes their love and commitment.
We wouldn't want to give away too many surprises, but get ready for some heart-melting moments! Anisha and Chad will each say "I Do," recite their own wedding vows to one another, exchange wedding bands and our officiant might just add a sprinkle of storytelling magic to the mix!
The dress code for the wedding is "cocktail formal" or "Indian formal." This means you have the choice to wear either formal Western attire, such as a tuxedo or suit for men, and a floor, tea, midi or knee length cocktail dress for women, or traditional Indian attire, such a sherwani or kurta pajama for men, and a saree, lehenga choli, or anarkali for women. Choose the attire that makes you feel comfortable and reflects your personal style! If you're keen on donning Indian attire and desire to explore different styles before making a decision, take a look at this website: https://www.allborrow.com/blogs/south-asian/types-of-indian-dresses
Weather permitting, the Baraat, cocktail hour and non-denominational ceremony will be outdoors. *Ladies, if you're wearing heels, opt for chunky ones—the Bell Works lawn isn’t stiletto-friendly, and we don’t want anyone getting stuck in the grass!* The Hindjew ceremony and reception will be indoors.
We kindly ask that guests refrain from using their phones to take photos or videos during both ceremonies. We would love for everyone to be fully present and immersed in the moment. We hired a fantastic photography and videography team who will be capturing our special day. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved. Feel free to capture moments before each ceremony, during cocktail hour, and through out the reception.
While we would love to accommodate everyone, we kindly ask that only those specifically invited attend our special day.
Of course! For those who are not ready to call it a night just yet, we invite you to continue the celebration at the Sheraton Eatontown hotel's bar. Please note that it will be a cash bar.
