Take a Funiculare Ride-Funicolare Como-Brunate
The Funicular Como-Brunate is a historic funicular railway (cable car) that connects Como with the hilltop village of Brunate, offering stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains! The ride takes about 7 minutes and offers breathtaking panoramic views. When you get up there you can enjoy a meal and stroll around Brunate, check out the Faro Voltiano lighthouse to climb to one of the highest views in Como, and if you're up for it take a hike on one of the many hiking trails that wind their way back down to the lakeshore in Como. Times are from 6am-10:30pm, running every 30 minutes.
