What will the weather be like this time of the year?

Answer

In Richmond, the average high-temperature, in April, is 70.3°F (21.3°C), while the average low-temperature is 46°F (7.8°C).

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue, the Estate at River Run. The wedding ceremony and cocktail reception will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The main reception will take place indoors.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Our Wedding Ceremony is open to all, but our reception will be an adults-only celebration.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Our wedding will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your formal invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, we have reserved two seats in your honor, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

When is the RSVP deadline? How do I RSVP?

Answer

March 1, 2021 is the deadline for RSVP. We will accept RSVP two ways: 1.) Here on Zola's website under "RSVP" (Preferred). 2.) Response card included in the formal invite.

What happens after the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Immediately following the ceremony, guests can mingle and make their social rounds while enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before the formalities of the reception begin. The bride and groom will use this time to take formal photos with the bridal party and family.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We encourage you to arrive an hour early to ensure a timely commencement of the ceremony.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding and/or reception on social media?

Answer

We are not in favor of guest posting pictures of our ceremony on social media. With that in mind, we will respectfully request all guests to turn off cell phones and cameras during the ceremony.

Will transportation be provided to/from the wedding and/or hotel?

Answer

There will be no courtesy transportation provided. Guests are responsible for providing their own transportation. There are alternative accessible options available (i.e. Hotel Shuttles, Uber, Lyft, etc.)

Where can I park at the reception?

Answer

Yes, The Estate at River Run has its own convenient parking for visitors.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

In light of the Coronavirus, how will we ensure a safe celebration?

Answer

First, we are encouraging everyone to be considerate, stay home if you are infected, or if you not feeling well. Our safety precautions include, but are not limited to: Masks must be worn at all times! There are situations in which a face covering may be temporarily removed, such as when eating or drinking. Hand Hygiene Stations will be set-up. Temperatures checks will be conducted before entry.
